  • @letsgetentertainment

    You're not trading Bo to the Dodgers or the Giants. They just signed Tommy Edman and Willy Adamas.
    You're trading him to the Mariners or the Braves. You're trading him for your pitching and or catching prospects with decent bat. Then you can move Jimenez to shortstop deal with your rotating second base position and sign a couple of hard-hitting outfielders and alex bregman. You're going to go offer Vlady 500 million and call it a day. That would be the ideal off season. Also, the Mariners trade with the Blue Jays is the best trade for both teams

    • @christopherpeereboom502
      @christopherpeereboom502 11 дней назад

      I don't think the value is all that off, but it would be GM malpractice if a Pittsbugh team that on paper is 4th in the NL Central, dealt for a rental player. If they somehow find themselves witing a game or two of the division leader at the deadline? Maybe.

  • @choocharoo

    Its Bichette for Lux and a pitching prospect. Cause they know he is a guy that can lead the league in hits every year and thats worth far more than a lux. Both teams win 100% and really the Dodgers are the only team here signing him long term.

    as a Ms fan I wouldnt trade 3 years of cas for 1 of bo. Why not run a 5 man very good rotation when some of your best farm bats are between 1 and 2 yrs out? I would keep the arm and wait over rushing him out the door. Maybe I would be swayed the other direction if not for the fact that all the mid priced 2nd and 1st basemen in FA have already flown off the board leaving alonzo and bregmen left to which seattle wouldnt bring in EVEN IF they traded Cas because the money on both are way to rich for mariners owners.

      3 years but $73 MILLION (and maybe $100M) for a 32 year-old that has already shows steady regression.

    • @bobsmith6370
      @bobsmith6370 18 дней назад

      @@plus790 Please explain to me what "steady regression" means? Is a pitcher not allowed to have a down year? You people talk about athletes like once they show any signs of not being elite that it's a downward spiral from here on out. From what I can see, his peripherals more or less were consistent with his last 4 seasons.
      And $23 million a year is a bargain considering what worse, older pitchers are getting around the league right now.
      You want to talk about regression? Look at Bo Bichette who was borderline unplayable last year. "Oh he was playing hurt." Yet you probably wouldn't give that excuse to Castillo who struggled with a hamstring issue last year.

    • @BigAngryRacoon
      @BigAngryRacoon 18 дней назад

      @@plus790 LOL "steady Regression" of a single year. so we want to count Castillo's regression but not Bo's??? dude forgot how to play baseball last year while Castillo was still a very solid pitcher well worth his salary. Walker Buhler with his 5.00 ERA just got 22 million.

WHIP has gone the wrong direction too and if you just want to ignore stats, then his velocity has decreased. Bo Bichette is one of the most overrated players in MLB, but he did post an OPS+ between 121 and 128 for 4 straight seasons before cratering in 2024 with a 2 month calf injury. And he's 26, not 32.

    5:52 would I love to see Bo in SF? Yes. At the trade deadline this last year was hoping they would go all into trade for both him and Vlad. But now that we have Adamus and seeing the year that Fitzgerald just had, we don’t really have room for him.
    If there’s any of our infielders that we would trade I would say it’s likely going to be wisely before Schmidt. I see Casey going in a bigger package, but if you Toronto, that’s probably who they would ask for.
    The thing is if we trade in for Bichette, then Fitzgerald has to get into the outfield, which means we would likely trade Yaz.

    Bo Bichette is OK, but that's assuming he _fully_ rebounds from injury. But even if you trade away whatever it takes to get him from the delusional Blue Jays who think their window is still open, 1) you're still paying him almost $18M for 2025, 2) he's a rental, 3) his power has regressed every year since his first full season, and 4) defensively we're talking about a guy who put up a -16 DRS in 2022--that's Christopher Morel levels!

      Been a Jays fan since a kid and at no point have I felt this disheartened about the future of the organization. After this season concludes, the team will undoubtedly be blown up and any piecesof value will be delt off. If the franchise can even survive this, it'll be multiple decades before they could ever get back into being competitive... The only window they had was in 2021, after that it slammed shut with a 4 alarm fire in progress.

      @plus790They had a banger of a lineup in 21, just didn't have the bullpen depth.. Unfortunately the 3 cogs that we still have left in there have for the most part underproduced. Springer has been nothing short of brutal aside from his fielding, Bo was on a nice track prior to last season and Vlad up until mid June of last season seemed like the A&W commercials were more important then his on field play. STOP!!! Enough with the Bichette trades.... it's gotten totally ridiculous!! Report what there is to report, don't report when there is nothing there. I get it you need to say something but stop making shit up report on things that are actually in the works....I know it's not just you everyone needs to pick better stories than something that might happen one day but not now the team isn't looking at it blah blah blah!

    I’ve heard Cubs are in on Bichette maybe Owen Caissie and some other prospect, then moving Bo to play 3B

    Yes Bo would be good for the Giants. But the Giants do have Fitzgerald and I believe he's gonna be pretty damn good himself

    A take a chance year for Bo bichette…but Gavin lux who had a better season than Bo, still with more control. Not as valuable to Bo 😒

    Dodgers already said that Mookie Betts is the Starting Shortstop! Also have Tommy Edman, Chris Taylor and Miggy Rojas to fill in behind him! Dodgers need an Elite Outfielder more than a Shortstop.

    Overpay by Mariners but realistic. If Mariners move Bo to 2nd i think it could fill a need

    A few Teams are becoming all star teams. Get ready for LA vs New York for like 7 years. Lol. MLB is a joke.
