Retrofitting my theme into this bench work is definitely a challenge. The recent expansion was in my plan but how I would do it was not. I am not a carpenter but the design and construction is solid and level. The good news is in a month the trains will be running. Thanks again for watching my videos!

I know the preparation can be stressful but it's motivating as well. I'll watch out for your next update but in the meantime enjoy your time off.
I essentially have two layouts that connect via a lift bridge. The layout in the video is 26’x 13’ and was converted to a double decker when I added the Maybrook and Bay Ridge yard and car float. The Manufacturers Railroad (switching layout) is 14’ x 6’ so the railroad is 40’ long. I plan to do a full layout tour video once I complete the construction. Thanks for watching my videos!
