I will go over the exterior and interior features and functions and then take you on a test drive with me to see how some of the safety features work. This is a great refresher for those who have just bought the Fit, and those considering purchasing one.

    Fantastic review! Too fast for me to grasp it all so I will repeat it several times. I have owned a '17 Fit EX-L for two years and never knew 2/3 rds of all these details existed. I do love the Lane Watch feature and I DO LOVE this car. Zippy and sporty and my CD plays at the highest volume so I don't hear any road noise. Getting 37 mpg. So spacious inside you feel like you are outside gliding in the wind. I LOVE this car. Had a new '07 CRV and new '13 Civic but this Fit is my fave. I like sporty and zippy and I have learned about many features with your great video. You packed in a lot of info. Love all the tall windows in this car and the visibility. And yes, to the persons that mentioned a backup camera ( three views ) and yes to an armrest and console! One thing I don't like is only the driver's side opens without clicking the FOB not the rear passenger. Have to put your stuff down and click the FOB. Don't know why Honda didn't just do both, hands-free opening. Still, FAVE Honda! I named her Madonna. I am a Boomer girl, 5'7" and much room to spare in this great car! WOO-HOO

      Really wow!!! I’m debating between Honda Fit ex-l vs 2020 Toyota Corolla SE. if you don’t mind me asking how much are your monthly payments???

    • @lerouxly67
      @lerouxly67 4 года назад +2

      lexi jenny I'm in Canada and everything is more expensive here. $20,000 in the US is about $26,000 CAD. The payment depends on so many variables and is probably not relevant to your situation. Mine is $550. I had a 2007 Fit that I kept for >13 years and loved it. The form factor specifically; it pretty much turns into a mini-van and it carried so much stuff when I needed it to. That's why I bought another one.

    It sucks that lane watch camera only shows passenger's side, also it sucks that this feature temporarily disable the navigation or other functions of the touch screen, Hyundai has blind spot view monitor that's for both sides and it's much better.

    This Econ button is useless. Do not use it when your car needs more traction, i.e. on highways or on hills/mountains. Yes, it reduces the acceleration (you simply can feel it when pressing the pedal) and A/C power, instead, it pumps more air into the engine, reducing the fuel consumption. For a slow drive, it's ok otherwise it may lead to premature engine use. The fuel economy is around 0.5l/100 km + 0.3l if turn off the AC at all. I don't think 0.5l is worth it (I mean an expensive repair or maintenance).

      It is still a great car and there will be both Honda parts and aftermarket parts for years to come. I think Honda is planning to focus on the Honda HR-V (based on the Fit platform) now.

    Thanks for the great review. Is the ACC stop & go ? I.e., will it i) bring the car to a complete stop if the car ahead of you stops, and 2) will it move forward again (by, e.g., pressing the gas pedal or the 'resume' button) after the car ahead moves ? Thanks

    • @JustinFullerReviews
      @JustinFullerReviews  4 года назад +1

      The Fit does not offer ACC with low speed follow. So, When your vehicle speed drops below 22 mph (35 km/h), ACC will automatically cancel and no longer will apply your
      vehicle’s brakes.

    You know you cover all the electronics really well, but you don't hit on the obvious things that people need to know. For instance, is there an arm rest for the driver? How about for the passenger? What about extra storage space. I watched the whole video and never found out those practical things.

    03:37 - In today's world, not including at-least driver side power seat is a huge drawback for this car, which otherwise has loads of other upgrades. It's keeping me and folks who like my thinking from buying this car in a heartbeat. :-(

      Seriously? I set my seating position to how I like it ONCE 4 years ago and haven't touched it since. If you're sharing the car, then I can see why power seating might be something you want. But if you're the only one driving it, why do you need to change the seat so much?

    • @JustinFullerReviews
      @JustinFullerReviews  4 года назад +2

      Pricing on the Fit will be very close to MSRP. There is about 400-500 dollars of profit to play with in a Fit. With that said I would focus on interest rate, promotions, and other incentives on this vehicle.

    This is the worst car I ever owned I've had it for 2 years. The hatchback leaked had to go back to the dealer have it fixed. The gas mileage is horrible. And now I couldn't get my hatchback open to get out my items out of the hatchback. I do not recommend anyone to buy this car it is horrible. If I drive on the highway I open my driver side window a little bit the window keeps shaking horrible car I don't recommend anyone to buy it and I bought it with 8 miles on it. The dealership forget them they're not helpful at all.
