I LOVE the fact that you are doing first time projects without you not knowing what the outcome would be. No shame and I am more a fan. How else will anyone learn that is okay IF you do mess up. However you have been doing so damn good with your projects.
OMGOOOODNESS Ms Courtney that is flipping Fantabulous 🙌🏻🥰💀 I’m new to tumbler making and I had NO idea you could do that...thank you so much for your wonderful video❣️😊😍
I have made several tattoo tumblers that came out awesome, but when I put vinyl on my last tack it one, the transfer tape pulled up some glitter. I’ll definitely epoxy first next time. Thanks for always being upbeat.
Awesome!! I have temp tattoos, but haven’t used the. I wondered if you could just jump right in after the tack it method and now I know. Thank you for sharing. It turned out beautiful
Okay. You have an empty Tack-It bottle. Why not fill it halfway with your new Tack-It and add water directly into the bottle? That way, you don't have to mix a new batch every time you need some. Or, if you have a bottle that's 1/2 or 3/4 full, just do the same.
Love it! love using temporary tattoos. really like your idea to use the makeup brush. one question, how to do clean your brush? Thank you for your tutorials, I enjoy them a lot
Thanks !! Here’s a link to the tattoo. It came in a large pack with others DaLin Extra Large Temporary Tattoos Full Arm and Half Arm Tattoo Sleeves for Men Women 20 Sheets www.amazon.com/dp/B07777X492/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_8zTbGb8BY610F
I did mine over a sliver glitter doing tack it method. I am still seeing my outline of the tattoo. I add a little glitter into my epoxy to see if I could cover the outline. I still see it faintly. Any suggestions for the next time I try? Thanks for the great tutorials!
For some reason this just popped up on my feed. A year too late of course. Lol I have a question… And maybe you answered it previously but I didn’t see it when I scrolled through… Does it have to be a certain type/brand of glitter in order to rub it off like that and get the shine right away? Or do any glitters with the tack it do that? Also, Does it have to be extra fine?
These are so awesome!!!! Thank you so much!!! One question - did you epoxy over this to finish it off? I would assume so but wanted to ask :) LOVE your videos!
Can you seal the tumbler with something else like Mode podge, another coat of tack it, something else besides epoxy? I have been told over and over again that epoxy is very hazardous to your health, even with a mask or respirator. But i get asked alot by customers in my small town about custom tumblers.
Epoxy is the only thing that will really keep everything permanently on the cup. There is a product called Crystalac that is epoxy free and suppose to act as epoxy. I tried it before and didn’t care for it, but if you have concerns with epoxy, check out crystalac !!

@@CourtneysCustoms did you seal the tumbler with anything?
I have done several of these they sell quick because they are different. Try different micas and brush them on!!!! They look amazin.
Oh awesome I’ll definitely try that !!
I would love a video on adding mica Courtney.
@@NinaCristina12a I can do that !!
@Leah Lawrence it’s so fun and easy you’ll love it
@Leah Lawrence I did after everything was good and dry
I’ve never tried to make a cup with a tattoo. I might have to try since you made it seem fun! Thank you.
You’re welcome😊
Stunning. Can’t wait to try this

I have never tried any tattoo or tack it tumblers yet... and now I will! Thanks Courtney!
You’re so welcome !!
Turned out great! Thank you for sharing!

Very cool!!💜
Thanks !!💜
Great demo thanks
My next project!
Can you use a clear spray primer to keep the stainless steel gray color?
Will tattoos show up on dark colored tumblers?
Awesome!! I have temp tattoos, but haven’t used the. I wondered if you could just jump right in after the tack it method and now I know. Thank you for sharing. It turned out beautiful

Nice
That looks great!! I definitely need to try this. 💖

Thank you! I just clean them with soap and warm water
Hey Courtney did you seal it with epoxy as well?
Yes I did☺️
I love this cup and this technique. What kind of epoxy do you use?
Thank u !! I use KS Resin. Links are in the description
i have a idea but im wondering can I do a crackle straight over tack it with glitter and without epoxy in-between?
I don’t see why not!
Do you add another layer of epoxy after? Spray clear rustoleum? Then epoxy? Thx!
I just added a couple more layers of epoxy 💜
@@CourtneysCustoms THANK YOU!!!
Will you epoxy over the tattoo to finish it off ?
Yes
Good luck nice vidéo
Thank u
I am so new to the tumble scene.. did you seal it after you put on the tattoo? and if so was it with epoxy?
After all the water dried I added epoxy, and I’ll add another coat tomorrow just to make it nice and strong !!
@@CourtneysCustoms on your epoxy is it the 2 step process?
Just curious but can I use tacky glue? instead of tack it? and wow that is so pretty
Unfortunately no, I tried that and it doesn’t work. But you can dilute tacky glue with water and make your own mod podge
Love it - what is the name of that tat?
Thanks !! Here’s a link to the tattoo. It came in a large pack with others

Do you seal the tattoo with anything or will it come off if you don’t seal it?
As long as you add epoxy it’ll be fine
How long do you wait after you applied the first layer of tacit, before you add the 2nd layer? Then how long do you wait until you add the glitter?
applied the second layer about 5 minutes later, then the glitter about 5 minutes after the second layer
Did you epoxy the tack it tumbler after applying the tattoo or how did you seal it?
Yes after the tattoo came a couple coats of epoxy
Do you have the flip flop strawtopper if so can you do a tutorial on how to do them Thank You in advance
The only strawbler I’ve ever done a tutorial on was my LED Christmas light tumbler. I hope this helps !!
Does the glitter need to be a specific type of texture or can it be any type of glitter?
It needs to be holographic
Ok great! Thank you for your help!

what brand of water slide paper are you using ?? I use Hayes and it’s my favorite by far !!
@@CourtneysCustoms I am using Sunnyscopa brand from Amazon. I will have to check out that brand. Thank you!
What is the name of the glitter you used
Interstellar from The Glitter Grind
theglittergrind.com?sca_ref=415856.Coj81gkGqJ
Can I use regular glitter?
No, you won’t get the same effect
Does it matter the brand of makeup brush you use?
I’m using a blush brush because it’s super soft. Just as long as it’s not too rough it doesn’t matter
Do you have to get a certain type of temporary tattoo or just any kind? Also, can it scratch off if you don’t epoxy it afterwards?
Any kind. And yes definitely epoxy afterwards or it’ll scratch up
i know its not a tumbler but i tried googlin do u think this method will work 4anythin besides tumblers ect like rolling trays for instance
I think it would !!
What’s the difference between the tack it and mod podge?
Mod podge dries completely, tack it stays sticky
For some reason this just popped up on my feed. A year too late of course. Lol I have a question… And maybe you answered it previously but I didn’t see it when I scrolled through… Does it have to be a certain type/brand of glitter in order to rub it off like that and get the shine right away? Hi!! It needs to be a holographic or laser glitter. Fine works the best but I’ve seen people do it with chunky
@@CourtneysCustoms thanks! I’m looking into some now! Excited to do one of these! Yours came out great!!!
These are so awesome!!!! Thank you so much!!! One question - did you epoxy over this to finish it off? I would assume so but wanted to ask :) LOVE your videos!
Yes I did !! I’ll do two coats. Thank you so much !!
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you!!
Did you need to seal it at all?
Yes with epoxy
Could you put epoxy over this tumbler if wanted to? I think I'd be scared to wash it and thinking that the tattoo or Glitter or tattoo would come off.
I epoxied off camera! My older videos aren’t very good I’m sorry. I promise my newer videos are better😂

Hi ! Before you apply tack it do you do anything before that ? Like prime the cup first ?
Yes I sand and paint
Sorry I have a lot of question . Do I have to paint it ? Can I just sand it and apply tack it ?
@@thaliyah_thai you’re fine !! You can try but I always suggest to paint
What kind of paint you recommend 😊
@@thaliyah_thai definitely rustoleum !!
What is the dry time or tack time in between coats?
Like 5 minutes, it dries super fast !!
can you use anything else besides Tac it?
Not for this method
Where can I buy the tack it mod?
You can get some from the glitter grind there’s a link in the video description for them😊
@@CourtneysCustoms thanks love
I tried the tack it method and mine isnt turning out right!! What could I be doing wrong??
What is it doing ?? Are you using the Aleens Tack it Over and Over ?? My first time I accidentally bought Tacky Glue and it’s not the same
@@CourtneysCustoms yeah im using the aleens tack it. I only did 1 coat and then put on my glitter... Does it have to be holographic?
So you seriously don’t have to seal it with anything? Won’t it come off like it does on your skin after so many times being wet?
you seal it with epoxy. at the end of my video I had mentioned once the water was dry I was going to add a couple coats of epoxy🙂
I didnt know you used epoxy on this tumbler
Yes I put epoxy on every tumbler so all the glitter and designs stay on the tumbler
@@CourtneysCustoms so applying epoxy won't mess up the tattoo
@@amberbernicke7956 no not at all !!
