Remembering Burt Bacharach (solo guitar).

I wanted to share this recording of my favorite Burt Bacharach song, “What the World Needs Now”. I was feeling my way through the melody and harmony when I recorded this in 2017. I was warming up before a gig I do regularly (KJAZZ Champagne Brunch Cruise). The quality of the sound is not terrific the the simplicity of the arrangement shows what heartfelt genius is in Burt’s melody and harmony. I’m posting this as an homage to Burt on the day of his passing.
