It's an amazingly versatile and hyperefficient scooter...great in town, really capable on the highway, even two-up. Here in the US, they're as rare as hen's teeth, because we'd rather complain about gas prices than do something about it. In the three and a half years I've ridden it, I haven't seen another one.

I am thinking between Honda Forza 350 black, Xmax 300 Tech Max 2022 and BMW c400GT.. You drove a lot of the bikes..would help what would you buy. I am beginer, and also ride Honda NCX750 DCT and MT7 to get my licence. But most of the ride would be in city..so cvt or dct would be preferable.
It's so weird how Yamaha have different Xmax variants globally. I have the 2023 250cc version in Malaysia, granted some places only have the 250 version to meet certain market segmentation and regulations but even some basic thing like instrument cluster is different. Over here we have the double TFT screen that display the speed and rev separately which the rev meter can also be turned into navigation... the version in your video doesn't seem to have that feature.
The seat is also different. This one is a more plush looking design, the one on the US version is more basic looking. US version gets different tires too , Dunlops and these look like they are michelin.
@@paul5683 It's a same with Malaysian version... the seat is basic looking while the Europe market gets a very nice sculptured design with a mini center support bump for your lower back, they cost around $1K+ ringgit (roughly USD300+) as an aftermarket upgrade. We also get Dunlops for tires too...
Finally, someone riding over some rough roads like I have but no comment. However the scoot looked to handle the bumps pretty well unless the camera has stabilisation then ...........
@@fullysama front suspension is awful.I changed oil in the front in order to get better but after 6-8000km probably I will change them again.other than that forza 350 is a very good scooter in my opinion with the peace of mind of course

So You have a brand new scooter, it is very nice Some advice: use less the back brake, in this way you protect the clutch and the engine … See what you have in front and let the throttle, the scooter engine is going to brake little by little the engine Do not apply sudden brakes (except emergencies) Try to speed up progressively
Let me help you with this. It's ok, not perfect. My advice, just replace the suspension or...you can install a Yamaha performance damper for Xmax. It improve the handling and the ride as well
Incredible video quality, did you feel an improvement in performance compared to the 250cc version? I have the 2023 250cc that they sell in Brazil, we are still in the 250cc version, next year maybe the brand will launch this version.
omg 250cc model stops here in Greece in about 4+ years ago. There are many differences not only in the engine. 300 its way better. Wish you to come to Brazil.
the digital clock (speedometer) is the worst part of this scooter.....Yamaha goes some steps behind .........i prefer the previous model with big clocks.......
I love this scooter but what scares me away from getting one is when I try to go downhill like in 5:55, since scooters don't have engine break to slow down, instead I have to use brakes a lot. In such situations I feel like scooters just roll freely without any control at all. Do you have the same experience?
You can do engine braking in a scooter especially for most of Yamaha, rev the throttle and release at once then you have your temporary engine braking, it takes practice and timing if you are a newbie but most experienced riders already knew about this feature. I use this technique especially on downhill to avoid stressing the brakes
Scooters do have engine breaks, as you can see in some part of his vids when he releases the throttle his speed goes down or stays put even on downhills. Scooter engine breaks can also be adjusted (in some, idk if it's applicable to all).

Πρόσφατα πήρα το Honda καθαρά λόγω εμφάνισης. Σε μια μεγάλη βόλτα λοιπόν με ένα φίλο που έχει το xmax κάναμε τράμπα στην επιστροφή. Παρατήρησα ότι το Yamaha το νιώθεις πολύ πιο ελαφρύ στο δρόμο ιδιαίτερα όταν θες να κανείς μια μανούβρα. Παρεκκλίνει πολύ πιο εύκολα από το Honda. Και επίσης το μπροστινό σύστημα της Yamaha απορροφά καλύτερα τυχών κραδασμούς σε ανώμαλο δρόμο η χαλασμένη άσφαλτο η τσιμέντο. Σε ροπή δεν υπάρχει σύγκριση. Φαίνεται καθαρά ότι το Honda φεύγει. Ο χρόνος θα δείξει τι και αν θα βγάλει προβλήματα στην πορεία. Εγώ το πήρα καθαρά από θέμα εμφάνισης. Καλές βόλτες παίδες και πάντα με κράνος αυστηρά.

Ja ga vozim oko 2500km, na autoputu bez trunke mučenja održava 110-120kmh, sa jednim putnikom od skoro 100kg. Može i do 130-140 bez problema, ali se oseća da mu više prija 110. Na 100-110 je bukvalno nečujan i bez ikakvih vibracija, tako da rekao bih da može da posluži za autoput. Glavni problem što se toga tiče nije Xmax nego što meni lično položaj sedenja na skuteru ne odgovara za autoput i za duži put (vozio sam i posedovao i skutere i motore).

Both of them very good but I prefer XMAX especially the tech max version. Xmax a bit more space under the seat. In both of them you can fit a backpack.

Very good bike, in Brazil we have only 250cc but it's a success sales. I have 21/22 model.
Same thing goes in Indonesia, it only has 250cc option but it's currently the best selling scooter on it's class

I think the Tech Max version has two screens, but the regular version only has one digital screen. You only get navigation with the tech max

Brake pads are cheap and easy to replace. Engines are not.

Εσύ θα πρέπει να αποφασίσεις. Αυτό που έχω να σου πω είναι ότι το XMAX έχει αρκετά μεγαλύτερο χώρο κάτω από τη σέλα.
Your riding is very on and off the throttle .... try and smoothen it out a bit..
that's a technique for riding new engine, after first oil change then you can rev more
which one do you prefer overall forza 350 or xmax 300? which under seat is bigger and can fit a gym bag with ease?

Both of them very good but I prefer XMAX especially the tech max version. Xmax a bit more space under the seat. In both of them you can fit a backpack.

I bought 125cc tech max 2023 year and on first day it died because my fuel pump fucked up
wow that sucks.but dont judge yamaha for that ,shit happening no matter price ,brands etc.
