  • I had much fun touring on a 5-day trip. Left Sweden. I had no planning just went!
    Sauna, women, sunset.
I started dreaming of a trip with a two-wheeler last spring but I didn't have the budget to buy a bigger motorcycle, so I took my scooter, which I had for years to commute to work and do other short trips with tours. There are many of us who cannot afford but a bigger motorcycle and there are also lots of people who do not have the opportunity to make such trips, so I hope that you can still follow my journey in your own way.
If you want to support me to be able to make more videos like that, click like and..you know! Thanks. And feel free to watch all three episodes even if the quality is not the best. I am learning with your help!

0:05 Just got a 2023 XMax. Planning some long tours here in Canada 🇨🇦.
Trying to travel as light as possible. Just one 50 litre duffel bag and underseat storage. (You can tour on any bike really)

My Xmax did the same thing. I had it from brand new but after a couple of months, sometimes it would not start. Yamaha replaced batteries, then the keys then on and on it went. 9 breakdowns later I managed to convince them to replace the receiver inside the bike. Then traded the bike. If it wasnt for that I still would have the xmax

I found that if my cellphone was too close to my key fob I would have problems starting. Solution, never keep your cellphone in the same pocket as key.

Tip: Always carry the code numbers and a written tutorial on how to turn on the Xmax without the key in your wallet for those unlikely moments of failure.

Batteries last a couple of years i allways have one spare taped to the inside of the storage you should also see a warning light when you first start the bike letting you know the battery is running low

@@skythebike5860 I discovered the fault I had. It's the magnet on my dji action 4 camera. It's disturbing the signal of the key fob😬

@MRkreuster That makes sense. I would always have problems with having my cellphone too close to the key. I used to have the same problem with my honda and it's keyless system.

the keyfob battery might be starting to die. lesson learned and in future carry spare battery in glove compartment.

Now I know what the fault is. I have a strong magnet on my DJI Action 4 camera. It messes with the keyfobs signal=/

Was it because the stand was down? Xmax will not start with the stand down!

    • @MRkreuster

@edwardwilson4974 No it was because I had the dji action 4 with the powerful magnetic casing to close to the keyfob. The magnet disturbed the signals from the keyfob.

It didn't fix the problem. It works fine for a while and then the same problem again. You can see in the video that it blinks when I'm driving after I get my ticket. Remembered later that I had the same problem last summer and actually had a spare battery in the glove compartment from last season 😊
