- I've had some troubles in finding the best ways to wire a sub into a 2006 Altima. Figured I'd make a video to show everyone how I did it, and I hope this will help you save a few hours of wasted time finding a hole in the firewall.
I was looking for a place and was going to go through the fender but your video helped me confirm thats a good way to do it I really appreciate the help🙏
Glad I could make your life a little easier! Hope the install went great 👍
@Eli it went great the hardest part was routing the 4awg through the main gromit but once I got it it was easy install
This came in handy for a job I have to do. Thanks for the insight!!
Awesome, glad I could help!
Thankyou that's exactly what i needed
Glad to hear it, I'm sure the new sub sounds awesome!
Dunno if you still have this car, but grounding under a seat in general isn't recommended. The rear deck has a stock grounding point where the factory amp would ground to. Just use that.
Great advice thanks! I'll be sure to keep that in mind next time
Great video
Thanks
Did you have any issues with voltage drop? i have a 08 and ran 0 gauge power wire from the battery thru the fire wall to the back and cant get over 12.57 volts even after a new alternator install
damn i have an 06 and i’m about to install a sub i hope this doesn’t happen to me
run a battery in the back thats what i did and have constant 14.4 running a 370 amp
No ours had great power, was a single 10" kicker sub with 6 gauge power wire that came with the kit. Not sure what could be causing the voltage drop maybe a bad ground?
Did you do it with your stock stereo With the subs ???
Nope it was with a new aftermarket deck and install kit! All of the subwoofer wiring came in a seperate kit.
