Those were great cars! The 2005 Altima my family had still runs, and lives somewhere near Williamsburg, VA. I believe it has way past 200K miles now, according to its carfax.
I'm going to get one tomorrow, that (looks exactly like this one, you're showing on this video). That's the reason I'm watching this video, and how ironic, It's the same exact color, year, and engine type. THANKS A LOT for making me feel that much more better about my Nissan Altima 3.5, that I'll be in tomorrow. 🙏
These were sleepers back in the early mid 2000s and nice little cars I remember seeing a SER flying down the freeway back in the day now people trash Altimas lol, oh yeah my mom had a 03 Maxima SE when I was younger and that was a pretty sweet car I remember her getting a few speeding tickets haha
@@DMCarReviews True, I’m just saying they got a bad rep now, once they started getting CVT and build quality went down plus the type of people that drive them
2005 altima SE R red and auto .. and 3 baby seats. Was a lot of .. huge trunk radio flyer wagon and 2 big coolers no problem. Perfect solid car.. and a lot of fun stop light racing when by my self .
My aunt bought a brand new 2002 3.5 SE. It was a beautiful bright green color. As far as options goes, it definitely had manual climate control. The main thing I remember her complaining about was no tape player.
Still use my 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 almost daily, 271K miles on it now. Replaced the camshaft sensors yesterday, but otherwise, has been running great for many years, owned since 68k miles. Door handles are all broken though :P
my p2 volvo has the same transmisson as that! i could tell at the beginning of the video when you did the kick down. the short delay is exatly the same its errie.even shift points are similar.but i gotta say these transmisson are aggressive, learn something new everyday
I currently own a 2008 3.5 SE with 97000 miles, it was my first car aswell. I’ve had it through high school and my family bought it new (moms car), so all it’s miles are our family. I have an aftermarket exhaust and she is quick enough to get pulled over 😂
@@sawarebelI have a decent car with 97, just picked up a parts 2.5 for cheap to swap in leather interior and duel climate. It’s a 3.5 and it’s clean. Minimal rust for a VT car
MY 05 has manual and minor tune with intake and cat back , I tell you I have beaten some mustang an charger V8 around 05. I can't mess with the newer ones they are too fast.
This guy had me laughing, reminiscing on that smell, that made him vomit. Funny how the brain can remember certain peculiar things, despite how long its been. He still remembers that smell vividly, till this very day😅
I had a 2006 Nissan Altima four banger. It was sleek black and I had it for 13 years. Love that ride.

Great ride! Hope it all works out for you.
And how does it perform?
the early 2000’s of nissan were the best. My dad owned a 2006 Nissan Quest. Best car i think he ever owned.

This man driving like my abuelita two hands 😂
Safety first!
He drives pretty fast for an "abuelita"
@@vintage_hart6392Abuelita=Grandmother
your abuelita drives better than you then
Grow up
I had a 2006 2.5s car was fast as hell for a 4 cylinder great on fuel and was extremely reliable had it for 4 straight years
I have a 2006 Altima 3.5 SL since 2012 it only has 90k and I love it super fun car my favorite Altima.
Great car!
These are fun cars for a young person looking to buy a cheap car with decent power im telling you the v6 version is just too fun
These Nissan's were selling like hot cakes.
They were great!
i had an 04 maxima se with the executive package. it was an interesting car
I love them cars 3.5 liter V6 250 Horsepower
Absolutely.

Had an '05 SE-R. Definite flashbacks.
Nice!
This was my first car in highschool had the v6 with the spoiler and it was so fast for a first car
It's even fast for today's standards. It moves better than most midsize sedans available for sale today.
@@DMCarReviews for sure, I’d love to own one again as a daily but i doubt there are many left out there in good condition

Crazy to think about how all nissans luxury cars, sports cars, and just every day cars had the same high performance engine
Correct! They did.
I had a 2006 Altima ser with 6 speed manual and that was a fun car.

2008 Nissan Micra
Can you do a video. Of the 2007-2012 Nissan Altima
I'll try to find one
First. You past me on the road today. 😂
Where?
I was coming down Midcounty highway and made a right on 124, and saw an Altima sitting on the shoulder.
@@mackfar27 That was me! What car were you in? Maybe you are in the video.
In the country that lives in… the azera 3.8 available in everywhere do you think it’s faster than this altima ??😮
I don't think so

Yes
A wonderful car away from the awful cvt transmission
the only nissan sedans from the 2000s that dont use cvts?
The 2000-2006 Maxima's, Sentra's, also didn't use CVT's.
@@DMCarReviews that’s nice I literally hate every Nissan cvt because they like to 💣🔥 and the sound they make is so annoying
