I should be in the bed but I can't sleep so I jumped on RUclips to check out some videos and look at God!! I too have been angry with God due to the various losses in my family in the year 2020. I lost a total of 15 family members that year. The loss that really jarred me was my 29 yr old cousin who drowned. We later found out that it was intentional with the people he was with. They pushed him in the water and he hit his head and drowned. Jealousy was behind that, but I digress. Prior to his drowning, I was very sick and almost died. I didn't understand why God left me and took him when he had so much to live for. Two weeks later he took another cousin. Hit after hit. I became so numb. It has taken me until the end of last year to really grieve. I heard God tell me on New Years that it was time for me to forgive him and be about how his business. I'm trying to let go and do what he is asking me to do. Surrendering is not easy!! Thank you for giving me a safe place to tell a portion of my testimony. Be well.

Faye I stumbled across your page back in 2020 when we were all stuck at home. I have been stuck. I love everything about you and your content, your honesty and willingness to be open is commendable. I must admit when I clicked on your video everything in me wanted to turn it off but I couldn’t. I felt like you were speaking to me. I have been dealing with depression and weight issues my whole life and I come from a family that’s not religious at all. Whenever I feel like am losing it and want to built that connection with god. Hey Faye I have watched Faye in the City for many years. At the time I was growing out my natural hair and on a weight lost journey. However it wasn’t for any of those reasons that I click on your videos. I honestly click because I enjoyed your spirit. Of course I said hi to Samantha. Anyway I pulled away from social media platforms several months back and came back to YT under a different account name. Anyway I am beginning my divorce process next week after 22 years of marriage. Not sure how it happened but new channel was recommended. I am so glad the algorithm and God brought us together. You are and have always been an inspiration to me.

Baby, the feelings you felt are real, and I thank you for sharing your testimony. I had these same feelings when I had my separation and eventual divorce. I felt like God was mad at me, and I did something wrong because I desired to be a wife. God did, right, though. All is still true but wrong person. I was stand offish at first, but like you, I had a toddler that I needed him and a community that could help. It's been 12 years of singleness for me, and one day that will change. Until then, I will continue to work to make something or someone better and live my life out loud.

Yeahhhh, so i commented before watching the wholw video and I'm here for allll of it. Alll of the doses. I totally get the balance thing. I LOVE me some JESUS, but I got a little hood in me.😂😂😂 I'm currently back on the path to getting where I need to be in my walk/relationship with Him. When I think about his love and grace, why the heck He even bothers to put up with my rebellious self! I definitely need to start back fasting!
