Another awesome tutorial! Do you remember in which tutorial you talked about the brushes you use? I thought I’d watched all the tutorials up until this one but I missed where you talked about brushes.
Thank you for the video! How do you touch up a line that has a little sliver of white showing from the background between two colors? Retape or freehand? I wasn’t spot on with my taping in a few places.
It the line is too long or wide, it is easier to just retape that spot. If it is a small line, I take a small flat brush and paint the spot by dapping the tip of the brush in from the side. If it is a spot in a corner, I use a toothpick or the end if a sharp pencil and dap a little paint in the corner.
I have missed something I think. You eliminated the outlines with the heat gun. Did you use a particular marker/pencil to make the marks? And, thank you thank you for this video.
Yes. They are heat erasable pens. I love them. There is a video on my channel called How to Choose a marking or writing instrument. I show them and how to find them on Amazon.
I started out buying the exterior samples at Home Depot. But the samples are not the same as the “real” paint. I now buy quarts and exterior paint. On occasion I will buy the exterior samples if I need a lot of various colors and if I am painting a barn quilt that I know will be kept inside.
I should have mentioned that. Sorry. I found both on Amazon. The paint scrapers aka tape cutters come in packs and are multiply colors. The pin strip tape came in a pack of about 10 small rolls.
Thank you 😊 It's always nice to see how you do the taping... I use a pointy tweezer to grab the tape because I have no nails to speak of 🤭
Thank you for the great video. I learn so much with each video. I finally had to find out where Crowders Mtn is. I’m from NC.
Yeah. I am close to Kings Mountain.
I usually draw a little arrow on the yellow tape pointing to the exact spot where I started.
“Enjoy the journey!” I have to remind myself of this frequently!!
Glad ur feeling better, take your time. Ty for all your videos...great job...❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you for all of your tutorials, I really appreciate them.
You are so welcome. I am glad the videos are beneficial to folks. ❤️

I thought I had uploaded that one but I didn’t. I will try to get that one uploaded in a day or so.

Thank you for the tutorials.
What is the green tool called that you cut the tape with? And where is it sold?
It is called a MiniScrapper. Just type that word in the search box on Amazon and they will pop up. They come in a package of different colors.
Thank you so much for the swift reply! @@BarnQuiltsbyMountainVisions

Hi Cathy! Do you buy quarts of Valspar and Behr paints or do they come in smaller amounts?
Thank you much!

@@BarnQuiltsbyMountainVisions would you happen to have the links to both? I’m not finding on Amazon
@@kimvincent4450 I will see if I can find them.
I can’t find them either and would like to have the links. Thank you 😊
How wide is the pin stripe tape you are using? If you said it, I missed it. :)
It is 1/8”. I found it on Amazon.
@@BarnQuiltsbyMountainVisionsand what type of tape was it?
