You answered issues from Politics to Local Politics to Legal matters to International matters to Parliamentary affairs to Banking to Movies Censorship to a lot of other things... You are also aware of how much pulse we are importing from outside... I really dont think any ministers in past ever could match upto your reputation on knowledge and mighty... Hats Off

A brilliant interview with arun jaitley.I can see the clarity with which he explains every issue.He clearly explains the fault in various allegations against the current government and points out the right examples to justify it. I particularly liked the way in which he clarified on the delhi issue and the fact that any newspaper in delhi that criticize delhi government wont get government adds and sited the example of the chennai high court's judgement that the ads of delhi govt are coming in the chennai newspaper.
Arun Jaitley is an ideal politician, so well cultured, educated, intelligent, well articulated and classy. Wish more politicians in India (including BJP) were like him.

Jetley is a high profile man like other ministers in Modi's parliment. We cannot compare to useless Kejriwal or pappu. :-)

3. Introduction of Single Window Agency to obtain all permissions from the Government to control Corruption.

Sincere appreciation to Mr. Arnab G for giving the expression of almost all our questions to Mr. Jaitley who on the other hand replied with matured undramatic fluidity. seems like Arnab was a little soft on the issue of aap vs center. he did not ask him about how parliamentary secrataries were exempt from office of profit clause in states like haryana, rajasthan and most of the north eastern states where they even have perks and enjoy the rank of a cabinet minister.
these parliamentary secretaries of other states are not mla's get our facts straight first.
+siddharth mishra irrespective of who they are, either MLAs or administrators, i was referring to those people being exempt from the office of profit clause despite receiving previleges on par with legislators.
+Apuroop P N appointing parliamentary secretaries is not a crime but making ur mla's parliamentary secretaries is against the law.. as they will now be holding 2 office of profits. bit the bigger problem is, today to save his 21 mla's from disqualification he is trying to amend the constitution by retrospectively changing it, who is to say that he will not take any other drastic measures also in the future whenever his interests are not in line with the law.. this kind of "change the law whenever its against you" policy should not be allowed..

Old couples invest all their income, PF etc in FDR thinking that they can live in peace for the rest of their lives. If the FDR rates slip heavily, It is the middle class pensioneers who are hit very badly. The excuse that the govt has to fund young entrepreneurs will not hold water in this case. They can't do it at the cost of the retired middle class which depends upon the bank interests for their living. The govt cannot create Vijay Mallyas by sacrificing the poor & middle income pensioneer's interests. That would be ridiculous.
Even the CONgress encouraged crony capitalism. How come in CONgress regime the veg prices were less than half of what it is today & the interest rates were steady ? People don't want to listen to economic jargons & they are not interested it. This regime has definitely not brought acche din for most of the people.
Mr FM, you can gloat over the fact that you've brought down inflation to 4%. It doesn't mean a thing to most of the citizens who live in the middle income group or below that whose life is changing from bad to worse, esp., the elders who had been trusting the bank thinking that their money is in safe hands..
