What type of coolant do you use on this car?

Hi Andreas, if you want to use the original OEM coolant, use Mitsubishi Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) like this bottle on Amazon - amzn.to/3qukZRx
Or you can use Zerex Asian vehicle blue coolant like this bottle also on Amazon - amzn.to/43r4CUo
I believe the Outlander in this video had blue coolant but the most important thing is that the coolant is silicate free and borate free.

Can I just add coolant if it’s low?

Hi, yes, if the level is below the "LOW" line you can add some to get it above the low line. Don't fill it up to the "MAX" line since the coolant expands when the engine is hot. So you need a bit of room in the overflow reservoir for expansion.

@@Paul79UF HELP! Does the overflow than flow into the cooling system? I filled my overflow nearly to max, but even when I circulate the system and open the radiator cap there is no visible liquid at the top.
