I'm a resident of Lincoln and really appreciate your kind words regarding this event and my hometown! I've been a spectator for several years and it's super interesting and informative to get a racers' perspective. Thanks and congratulations.
Congratulations again! The competition was tight, so nice job. I’m looking forward to running my 2022 in DS this year. Thank you again for the videos I learn a lot watching how you attack the course.
Ahh, here we go. I've been waiting for this video. Congrats on nipping Vivek, though! He's been my target for the past year and a half, or so, locally, and he's a hell of an opponent.
I love the story telling in this video. I've still got a huge grin on my face from watching it. Just did my first autocross last weekend w/ Spokes @ COTA and might be hooked.
Thanks! According to data I threw away several tenths in the center section after the showcase on that 3rd run, otherwise would have been a half-second pickup. Oh well, it certainly made Day-2 a lot more intense!
Hello Mark, first time on your video and very enthusiastic for me !!! You did it ! I am going to follow accurately your next issues. Many thanks for this very clear and well comented video
Was my first nationals. I finished 12th or 13th cam c. 42 cars in class. I was happy cause was nervous and some of my worst driving. On the practice course I was one of the fastest cars on track but day 1 I totally feel apart. Had a co driver which is bad for me and the way my mind works. Congrats! Awesome job!
That was flying!!!. I'm just getting into autox, it was fantastic whatching him knife through those slaloms. He starts the turn much sooner than I have attempted. I need to keep watching this video and pick up a bunch more nuances on how he is able to perform so quickly. Though, I don't yet know what I don't know. One thing I noticed is I don't breath when I am watching this video just like I don't breath when I'm in the seat of my car. I need to work on that. Mark seemed to be out of breath also, mabye that isn't fixable.....? Thanks Mark!!
Honestly it's the most fun autocross car sub-$40K...there are others that are close, like the new '22 BRZ, but nothing beats the Miata for sheer driving pleasure IMO. Now I did take some runs in a Porsche GT4...I admit to briefly considering mortgaging my house to buy one after that, what an amazing car!
I really enjoyed watching your video, real reality tv and well put together, thanks
Thanks for the kind words, that was what I was going for...real life competition without a camera crew and producers trying to make up drama ;)

So confusing looking. Love the control and stability of the car and driver.

The ND Miata is moving to DS next year?
@@Setherino86 No, sorry. I have a BRZ but forgot to mention that.

Little car is a beast! Working that wheel man, great job......

Congrats...saw your pictures on page 42 of the Nov/Dec issue of SCCA's Sports Car Championship Yearbook.
Congrats again! Great job as always. That 3rd run does look cleaner than the 2nd run on Day 1

Fantastic driving

How fun is the Miata to race compared with other cars that you have autocrossed?

That Fiata at 11:38! That was me!
Cones… too bad I can’t do cones.
You need a better seat.
In the Street category we are not allowed to change seats...and honestly I kinda like my Recaros ;)
