Thank you for that 5 quart and a half didn’t know I just put four and then still need more. Thank you for that.😅😂😂😂❤
Straight forward to the point man thank you! After scrolling thru all the bullshit yours is the best thanks!
Thank you sir. This is a huge help. Local dealership is not much help & they snub me for asking the techs questions about " how to" information. Simple and easy as it gets. Again thank you for sharing
Straight forward! I was looking for the oil filter on my daughter's and my melon wouldn't fit in there to see it at first, so watched to see where its at..... you have helped an old man! and I'll say it..... God Bless you, brother!
thank you for the comment im glad I could help you out
Thanks for great simple vids fam
Literally answered every question I had. Yah bless you, brother.
I appreciate that,, Glad I could help you out
Jeep renegade oil change reset
good video. Defiantly fill the filter as mentioned in the comments as this looks to be a straight up assembly for the oil filter to the engine as not to spill it.
Oil capacity for 1.4L only uses 4 quarts, but otherwise great video and pre-filling the filter helps too!
Also uses 5w-40 viscosity!
Thank you! Great video!
🤝Thanks Bro, I was clueless on the reset! 👍
glad I could help you out 👍
Saludos desde México tenia esa duda y solo tu pudiste resolvea... mil gracias. Hasta se siente bonito cuando ya no te aparece ese mensaje de aceite.❤❤❤ gracias carnal.
Thanks for the how-to my dude, much appreciated.
Definitely helped thank so much!!
Thank you bro. Straight shooter!
Thank u for all ur help
I like those tires.
I always pop the oil cap off to relieve some pressure on the system. Helps more oil drain out
Спасибо! Познавательно, подписался.
Doing this for the first time tomorrow. Should be interesting....
You should have no problems. Just follow the video if you have troubles
Thanks for the video 👍
Thanks for choosing my video, glad I could help
Thanks!
ممتاز
Thank you
Thank you 🙏🏽
Glad I could help. Thanks for viewing my video
Awesome
I have the same color 😮
Make it look so easy! My dad was trying to take off the skid plate to avoid the oil pouring onto it. 😕
I finally removed skid plate. Oil change places lost most the bolts anyway. Can put back on if I want to go 4wd.
Does the 2018 Renegade have a fuel filter? If so, can you do a vid on how to change it if it is not too difficult? Thanks. Several of your videos have saved me hundreds of $$$.
I'm glad I'm helping you save money thats awesome to hear 👍 it does but I believe its located in the fuel tank. I'll do some research and see what I can do
Thank you, my gf got a jeep renegade 2016? i believe, probably same MM for ratchet wrench? Do i really need a jack? i'm not a big dude and we are planning on raising the jeep renegade.
you could possibly fit underneath the jeep, give it a shot. and yes same mm for ratchet wrench. Thanks for viewing and glad I could help
God bless
Looking into purchasing 2016 renegade sport. Took it out for test drive and noticed that idle slightly off. Suggest to salesman to have spark plugs checked , like one is misfiring. Afterwards meeting, I did check the carfax again, it seems to have had the same problem at 49k miles and then again at 59k miles. It's a 2.4l 14 multi air turbo current mileage 88,700. This seems to be an on going problem with the Renegades is there a fix for it? Or is this going to be a continuous defect from Fiat??? Sorry this comment is on the oil change.
its more then likely just a bad ignition coil, spark plug or possibly a vacuum leak somewhere. The 2.4 tigershark engines do have some issues like oil consumption problems, but as far as I've seen they're pretty decent engines.
Gee thanks
wish there was a service reset.
Do you know anything about restoring 4 wheelers
not to much unfortunately
hey me and my buddy are trying to find where we can jack this thing up lol got any tips?

This should help you
I have a 2.4 My manual says 5.5 qts of oil.. But it also says only 4 qts for the 1.4 eng.!!! hope they don't over fill it!!
I've read the same the 1.4 takes 4 quarts.
Thanks, How to change the oil filter?
The oil filter is underneath the jeep, you may need an oil filter removal tool to loosen the filter. It will unscrew, oil will start to come out. Just lower the old one down, check to make sure the old seal is not stuck on where it seats. Fill your new oil filter up with oil and screw it on. Once snug tighten a quarter more turn. Hope this helps
I heard you say that you moved the oil pan over before looking to remove the oil filter, is that a difficult step? or do you just push it? Thanks!
sorry for the confusion I was talking about the used oil catch pan thats on the ground
You forgot to mention to make sure all the accessories like the lights, radio, and air should be off when you reset the dash.
I just bought a 2021 Renegade I'm looking for more aggressive tires with white letters, what tires do you have on it? What size are they?
Sorry for the late response but they are 225/65r17 the brand is maxis bravo
@@603Mechanicvids awesome thanks! Any rubbing? Not sure what year yours is, is that a stock size?
When your checking dipstick for oil is car suppose to be on or off?
for your oil engine off
Thank you
I was gonna try but it looks to messy for me lol 🤷♀️
Does it matter what type of jack i get ?
get atleast a 2 ton floor jack for automobiles, don't ever use a bottle jack or the jack to change your spare tire. you could also buy car ramps
Where the hell to I put the jack and jack stands? This is my 2nd vehicle and the 1st time I’ve looked into my owners manual and not found that info.

Hope this helps you out
My car has over 50 thousand miles will I still us 0-20
Yes
That rating is for a reason especially with the multiair technology
Where is the filter on a 2016 jeep ??
if you have the 2.4l its in the same spot as in the video
Well done but for next time you Need a gloves
Where's the skid plate
my renegade never had one from the day I bought it new
Oh god I absolutely hate filters that are vertical, the oil just gets all over you.
Use a gallon baggie or sandwich baggie over the filter after breaking it loose makes for easy clean up
You never said how to reset
That foot tattoo is sexy as Hell!
is just a fiat lol
