    Why not lay the cards on a table?! Easier to focus and the cards stay still (easier to see the markings as well).

    Thanks for the video. I have never even noticed the k and x similarly, so I am grateful for the heads up. On behalf of all your non troll customers, we don't consider it a problem with the order of the value and suit. Even more important, we realize if a READER system is to much for you, meaning if you can't make due with a deck that identifies the exact card on the back, cardistry is NOT the Hobby for you. Love that you are using the Belgium Cartamundi cards. They are hot right now.

    We need a video tutorial for this marked deck? I bought several of these when it was on sale. I like them because it was cheap. However, I was slightly disappointed with the markings because they were obvious. I was hoping that the marking was some sort of code so that it's impossible for the spectator to figure it out, but that's not the case with these cards. I don't know about you guys, but I much prefer a marking system over a simple A and H for Ace of Hearts. However, the cards are very nice. I like the design and the thin border a lot, but just not the marking.

      @Jdtackett0226 5 лет назад +2

      You should look into the butterflies. Well you should buy them. Fortunately, it is not easy to find out the system without buying them. Trust me, if it stays secret, with practice, you can do wonders with this deck. Truly unique system

      @@Jdtackett0226 There is no system to the marking. I have 3 of these decks because they were on sale and cheap for $6 at another website. These decks are almost exactly like the Red Keeper deck. It just plainly say Q/S (queen of spades) or K/D (king of diamonds). If you just look at the card, you can see and interpret the marking. Actually, there is no interpretation needed. It just says it. My point is that, why does marked deck don't go the route of putting in some sort of marking system. Don't be lazy and put A/C on the card for Ace of Clubs. Again, I do like them because they're inexpensive marked deck and they are nice as well.
      And I do own about 6 different brand/type of marked decks because you can perform AMAZING TRICKS with them.😁
      I think the Ellusionist marked Bicycle 1800 marked deck is a bit better because the marking is more disguised and hidden. And it's affordable as well.

      Agreed. Way too obvious. Was thinking of buying these for poker night LOL. I'd win every time. But that would be cheating. And way too obvious. My buddies would catch it right away.

      Don’t run if you’re not being chased. A muggle will never see these marks or even suspect a marked deck, unless, of course, you slap on thick-lensed glasses and stare intently at the card’s back. A casual handling hides all. And remember: beak = value, wing = suite.

      At least they pulled every invoice and got everyone's email and made it right, once they realized they needed to. It is more than I've gotten from other companies. Plus, advertising for marked decks is tricky for sellers because some people think that a deck should have no mentioning of the markings, while others want it shouted to the world. People are going to not be happy no matter what. Thats people, social media, and opinions. ( and of course, the trolls)!

    • @Jdtackett0226
      @Jdtackett0226 5 лет назад

      That crossed my mind at first, but I think the camera man was actually looking with his eyes. He had to focus on the card with the camera (obviously, or either reboot it)! Multitasking! Maybe autozoom. Maybe he used mentalism

    Thanks. It’s really an all-around good deck for magic. I appreciate the video but it was fairly easy (already knowing it was a marked deck) to figure it out. I will say that owning a deck that you know is marked but you can’t figure it out isn’t fun. There are a couple of decks with quite IMHO impossible-to-read markings and the makers won’t tell anyone how to read the markings. As a magician I consider that a rip-off. So once again thank you for releasing this video.

    • @Jdtackett0226
      @Jdtackett0226 5 лет назад

      I noticed that too. It does say on the truck that they are made in Belgium. I think only Cartamundi prints there. The Cartamundi B9 finish are the trend now. They are thicker but given the stock, texture, feel and small margin of printing error, they are making USPCC actually work now. I m guessing it is either a subcontracted agreement or something similar.

    2:07 Its so weird how the British are so bad at English, considering they invented it. There is no such letter as "heisch." When pronouncing the letter H, the first H is SILENT! Resulting in "aich", not "heych" or "heisch" or whatever the fuck you're saying.... Also, there's no Z sound in the word 'us.' Its pronounced "uss," not "uzz." I just got my Cohorts, and while they're a good economy choice (there is good value for your money) they are far from my 1st or even 2nd choice. These are no NKW Cadenza's. These are more on the level of Red Keepers.
