I have a 2013 BMW X3, it has exactly the same valve, I noticed that some cars even same year they have the valve integrated to the cover and you have to replace the whole cover. I already order the part from amazon, hopefully will be an easy task, thank you for the video. Do you need to scan and erase anything? I don't have a code, but I have the Powertrain Failure light on. Why do some N46 engines have this valve on top of the rocker cover and some don't? My mechanic replace rocker cover gasket + cover itself and now the decorative cover no longer fits. And I've noticed that rocker cover is different - now it has this round valve on top.. Previous did not have that. Super confused, cannot find any details about the differences...
