Next challenge should be an “iron man” with each player getting three losses. Whoever goes the furthest wins.
Alternatively, stay on the character until you get a win, and first to finish wins.
This is a banger of an idea, hopefully they see this!
That sounds good, except Marss just gets a free iron man at that point. He's been trying for a LONG time to do it.
the second one would unfortunately take too long, like I'm talking over 8 hours of straight playing. So more likely than not they would have to do it with just 20 random characters or something like that. I love the first idea tho!

WaDi is so much better at Smash than me and most everyone else but these videos always make him seem like the newbie little brother compared to Marss and ESAM going hard 😂

I'd love a challenge where they win by playing characters the "unintended" way. Like Belmonts without projectiles, Olimar without pikmins, SoPo, Rosalina without Luma etc.
This is a really good idea, and very farmable content too since each of those can be it's own video! Also fun versions of this could be pyra/mythra but you only play pyra at low% and mythra at high%, plant without ball, little mac with no ground moves, peach but you cant jump/float/aerial, steve with no crafting, and miis with bad movesets

A first to 5 with Marss, WaDi, and ESAM playing free for all, but they must play random, or unanimously agree on a character for all three to play during a match.
I can only imagine the chaos.

Marss had to deal with people sd'ing, people not being spiked when they should have, and he went for on stage spikes as well which ended up not counting and he still destroyed everyone
the ragna dead spike voice line at 7:45 had me confused at first since I was like "chrom doesn't have a projectile move what" and then I realized. It has the word spike in it. The challenge is getting spikes. Good job editor (Alternatively you can hear it as get spiked lol).

I’m surprised nobody immediately went for Pokémon trainer. There’s ivysaurs spike which is broken AF and there’s charzards spike which is really good despite being slept on.
Imagine playing Byleth and telling your opponent not to die when they get hit by a strong move (of the stupid variety).

Really fun video. Next time could change it up slightly by adding a rule for losing a point when they get spiked.
I’d love to see another challenge like this, but instead of measuring number of spikes, you measure number of UNIQUE spiking moves. You get a point for each unique spike you get, and then you don’t get any more points for spiking with that move.
You could even make different spikes worth more based on rarity - Little Mac dair, Peach/Daisy downward Bob-omb, etc.
The song at 10:45 almost sounded like a remix to a DBZ Legendary Super Warriors song as old and obscure as that reference is

Chrom saying Japanese Ragna "Dead Spike" caught me quite off guard as a massive Blazblue fan.

I think what we learned here is that fishing for spikes leads to you getting bodied more often than not.

Its really stupid how no one explained the rules to them properly. The fact that only Marrs knew stag spikes counted gave him a big advantage

I'm blown away that ESAM, the lab rat that he is, didn't know about some of the ridiculous magnet tech that Ness has
