I got over a 100K in the stock market, 500k in real estate and 400k in retirement. The answer is simple. Live within your means, get a second income and work your ass off. Now I am working towards the goal of having my passive income to become my main income. Time is your biggest asset with compound interest and saving.

@@Bestovius stock market, RUclips (really just for fun right now) and flipping items when I find a good deal. In the near future, rental properties and flipping. We currently are looking for our next home to live in, flip or rent out.
Honestly, making and keeping money just means buying investments and time. Our home was our biggest asset that double in value over a 10 year period.

Dividends are dope. Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you’re investing in the first place and that’s what’s important.
Well the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward and such impeccable decisions are better guided by professionals
There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with Nicole Anastasia Plumlee and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her

Exactly, a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisor, but over the past 10years, I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure and that's fine by me

FYI the ETF with 500 stocks is VOO the ETF for dividends is SCHD and the growth ETF is QQQM. If you can get a 5% CD or money market JUMP on it, the puts your money in Govt bonds.
RUclips's ransom on commercial free videos is hilarious. They added commercials to live feeds to force more people into buying ad free RUclips.
@rossperreault3199 yes, BUT RUclips removed their ability to turn off midroll ads. So now when they do a live stream, you see ads throughout the stream. The only way to remove those is to get YT premium.
I'm focusing on cash flow producing assets for 2024.

@@Faji9r majority are in dividend aristocrat stocks. I’ve been investing since the 1980’s mainly buying growth stocks like Apple, Amazon & Visa. As I accumulated more wealth, I transferred toward dividend payers heading toward retirement.
