Not a single disagreement with kamel! This collab was 🔥 thanks for introducing me to George! Im a Chartered accountant, plus from a business family. Having seen my family build brick by brick to where we are, frugality was never lost on me, and the cost benefit equation is always present. Have never swiped a credit card in my life, and never intend to. Life is just simpler that way, plus it helps if you know the games rigged. My investment guru is my uncle who’s taught me all you need is patience and discipline with investing and you will get your reward. No unnecessary risks, keep adding to your corpus and ensure youre beating inflation+taxes on earnings, and you're gold.
Thanks for this one Jazz! Loved it!

With this in mind, the Federal tax credit for Solar PV and solar hot water panels is 30%.

7:35 I think it's all about mentality to answer this question. I would personally be excited to see a 50% drop even if my assets lose half their value. Now I can buy into the market at a massive discount and the market will eventually recover as it has during every other crash. Big market crashes like this turn tens of thousands into hundreds of thousands and hundreds of thousands into millions once the market bounces back. So you shouldn't be afraid of losing money, you should be excited that you have the opportunity to develop real wealth.

I think a lot of people (The middle class) have the mindset of. What's the point of investing if i can't touch the money now. What's the point of having money if i can't spend it now. You have to be a long term thinker in order to understand the power of compounding/investing! Which is probably why most are more intrigued with day trading. Because its instant gratification. Well if you're good at it.

Using a debit card is the dumbest thing you can do. Just carrying it is dangerous because of technology these days.
If you’re disciplined enough you should be using a credit card. As long as you pay it off immediately then you’re good.
The BIGGEST REASON TO NOT CARRY A CC IS LIABILITY AND EXPOSURE. if you are a victim of having your cc stolen you have a better chance of fighting that. If someone gets ahold of your debit card then they potentially have direct access to your money and good luck fighting that.

I'm not saying you're wrong either but using your credit card at a gas station will cost you an additional 10¢ to 20¢ more per gallon than if you had used cash to make that same purchase. So the cashback/points you're getting back on your gas purchase isn't as great as you think.

That credit card avoidance is an idea for those that lack discipline. If you have discipline it's a squandered opportunity and then claiming everyone struggles with discipline is foolish...
Dave was traumatized by using credit cards and this guy wamts to work with Dave so he's going to placate and appease him...

Follow Dave's "advice" by playing it safe with real estate and mutual funds and you'll see your hard-earned devalued dollar get you a whopping $10 in retirement 🤣
Also remember: dave is NOT a financial advisor nor a CPA

He should be thankful that he even had the ability to go to college. Many of us didn't and had to go right into the workforce at 16 or 18.

Now go back to watching RUclips/TV, eating McDonald’s, and sacrificing nothing to better your world/life.
Things worth having should be easy to get, it’s not fair, so just sulk about it 😉. Best of luck with that.

Just from the intro... you either picked a crappy major or a crappy college. A good college or university follows all the way through and helps guide you to a job. And picking a good major will give you a LOT of opportunities. This is just FUD

If you follow this channel you would see that following that line of getting job is fine if thats what you want to do. But for the minority that wants to be financially free you have to change your mindset.
Unfortunately not even our parents can tell us how to get that right because times change. You are now going to college and going thousands of dollars in debt to be average. Not stand out. Average
