My buddy's got a '14 Pro Circuit built KX250F I'm gonna be riding for the first time this wknd. I'm stoked. I've got a '15 Husqy FC250 that was built when I bought it, and just grabbed a '19 Rockstar FC450 in November. These things are fun and addicting.
That bike's sick af. I'm a Husqy guy, but that's one KX I would definitely rip. I appreciate your channel btw. You do like, the everyman's review and keep it simple n honest, and are pretty hilarious too. Editing and whatnots pretty dope too. You should definitely be on a higher level, so I'd look into that if I was you. 🤙🏼
Bro I'm in the UAE and Kawasaki just opened last year here, and I got the KX450 and I've been begging them to order me a 450SR forever, I think the extra torque will really make a difference on the dunes :(
Sadly, they only stock from Japan here and so far no luck on the SR and most US suppliers will charge freight, insurance and whatnot and the bike will end up probably costing $16,000 😂 but hopefully they’ll resolve it here in the following year
@@masoneppley1256 how vintage are we talking because suspension alone is night and day from old school bikes to new. Way more capable. Can't say I care much for the aluminum frame prefer steel but everything else is better in my mind. Modern service intervals suck as well I guess.
I'm talking the 70s man I own a 1973 cr250m elsinore and I see many people ride these style of bikes as fast or faster then some people on modern bikes It's not about the bike it's the rider that's what it all boils down to is to be safe and have fun But to each his own
@@masoneppley1256 Hey well glad you're having fun man. I suppose to some extent yes it's the rider but there's the capabilities of the machine, my first big bike was a 4stroke 250 big bore to 330 from Kawa. That thing would refuse to keep upright, something about the frame geometry and suspension. Hated that bike. Switched to a heavily modded drz 400 and that thing would just automatically correct itself when I thought for sure I was going sideways and gonna eat shit. Haven't ridden very many old bikes to be fair except for a buddy's early 80s kdx 200 and again, suspension is lacking. Was still fun though. Keep ripping bro on whatever you like.
Easier to stall he says 😅. Pull your clutch in a bit on low speed turns little more gas. Its a mans bike, too heavy, gotta hit the gym. Nice video and riding, looks like a sick bike. Mine is a higgly modded drz 400 shes a heavy bitch (300 lbs) and rips hard. Love that bike. Drift machine.
bruh I've rode the drz400, while it's a ton of fun, it's slow as crap 😂 31hp and weighs like 320lbs. This KX450SR weighs almost 100lbs less and makes DOUBLE the horsepower 60.5hp. Hell, even my little KTM150 is faster than a drz400. What kind of mods you got on your DRZ? Thanks for watching my man!
@@DerekHallman 60 horse is no joke:D Street legal drz s version (outta the box are slow as shit), agreed it's not the fastest dirt bike out there. But do some jetting work on the carb get rid of a bunch of stock parts for weight add better suspension a yosh exhaust and cut a nice hole in the air box and presto you get about 40 usable horse. Being able to street a dirt bike is slick. Done a bunch of trail riding after taking a freeway to get there. It handles quite well and the engine is reliable with long service intervals. I'm woods riding with guys that are shocked I can keep up with their 60 lbs lighter two strokes on turns and then I leave some in the dust on straights. She moves.
$80 for a quickie $120 for a whole half an hour but the memories last forever....

Definitely get the SR man it's worth it over the regular model. So many great mods to the bike right from the factory!
Sadly, they only stock from Japan here and so far no luck on the SR and most US suppliers will charge freight, insurance and whatnot and the bike will end up probably costing $16,000 😂 but hopefully they’ll resolve it here in the following year

Hey that’s my number and my bike is not a monster energy pro circuit Kwai mine is number 8 with the 50 anniversary monster energy star racing Yamaha
The 450s are so heavy!
Definitely could feel the weight of it when I was going slow in tight corners

How many hours
On the bike? I rode it for like 20 minutes. not sure how many hours are on it total
hi again
hello
how are you?
Get a vintage dirtbike man make your riding get a hole lot more interesting
So you obviously like crashing more...
I see less people crash on vintage than modern
