Henryk Wieniawski - "Romance" from Violin Concerto No.2, Op.22 | Tatiana Warszynski, ESO Violin II

“ 'Romance' is the second movement from the second Violin Concerto by Henryk Wieniawski. In this case we are playing it with violin and piano. All the voices that are usually played by the orchestra are done here by a pianist. We collaborated nicely and created this poetic atmosphere and touching mood. We really enjoyed performing this on the Winspear stage, especially during the pandemic when we worried about everyone and people’s health. We were able to kind of escape and find ourselves in a different dimension of music with this piece.”
