To be honest, I didn't expect much from this series based on the title. For that mistake, you have my apologies. This series is awesome! Excuse me as I need the next book.

My expectations involve your writings will leave me wanting more. It's the "opera" part in the title that throws me off. My interpretation left me with a sense of unease going into this book. This is why I saved it by the series for last. Your writings, on the other hand, never disappoint.
I recall you stating that all of your stories belong to the same universe. I'm curious if this book takes place around the same era as the others, or is it some time much further down the timeline? If it is around the same time as the others, then it would be interesting to see a clash of tech and magic, tech and magic combine, and whatever else you can cook up.

As I have said before, you have a wonderful ability to create characters which are both believable and interesting, you feel for them and with them. I work construction by myself 12 hours a day, I listen to audiobooks and can usually go through a book a day since I'll listen during my commute too. I've listened to your Portal Wars Saga and one other who's name escapes me and I love this writing style. Very straight to the story without confusing and unnecessary background information. The kind of writing that lets the scenes play out in your imagination. Awesome work man, you're a talented author.

What characters in your book series do you find most relatable to your own real life self?
None of them really and thank goodness for that. Their lives are all too exciting for me.

For me, I feel you have the number/frequency of adverts just about right and still comfortably listen to your excellent books. Also a great narrator.
I appreciate that. I tried to make sure the ads all started at chapter breaks and were at least 30 minutes apart. And yes, Joe is a great narrator.
RUclips red and I have not had an add interrupt my listening or watching it’s worth every penny. If you are on RUclips a few hours a day.

Love the books, only suggestion for your future sci-fi books, you should switch to metric for the distance and sizes, just since the likelihood of future space farriers still using imperial system doesn't seem likely.

@@JamesEWisherbooks Hello James, I just finished listening. This story is absolutely fantastic. Except for a few snack breaks, I went through it in one go as it was so good. Very funny at times I have to say :) Also I like that you leave certain things to one's imagination (like, close the door to the bedroom and not stay in there describing every detail) The whole story was amazing, well-paced and well written. Very compact, everything considered, and that's not a bad thing. I love both your epic stories and the short ones. This series here is very entertaining and a lot of fun. As a little aside: I didn't spot anything out of the ordinary in this upload so... it passed scrutiny ;) I am glad that I don't have to point out anything this time ;) Alright, your story made my day, thank you VERY much and keep up the good work. Take care and see you next time :)
@@JamesEWisherbooks Just had an idea of what this 2nd and 3rd episode reminded me of, a bit at least. Given the background of Han Solo visits Babylon 5... this time it's more like the old Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck and/or Buck Rogers visits the Borg Hive. Or maybe I just gave you an idea. ;)

A bit before 3.00 hour mark, I started here other voices in the background of the book. It sounds like a tv show plus ads . What I don’t understand is how ? Interesting story, I am up to 3rd book in this series in 2 days.

I'm working on the fifth and final book right now.
I typically don't like books or movies that are futuristic/space themed but just like every other masterpiece you've created, I ate up every word of this series....It was incredibly entertaining and like everyone says, your narrator is amazing. I haven't been able to listen to any other audio book because nobody has been as good as him.
I have enjoyed this series and look forward to the next one!. The narration is as good as the story -well done and thank you.
