I can't wait to hear more from the portal wars saga. I love Otto as a protagonist.
I've listened to the portal wars saga probably 4-5 times and it has become one of my favorite written universe's, and when this showed up in my recommends I immediately went to get the popcorn. Can't wait to see what happens next!!

After this last chapter, I simply have to re-listen the entire Portal Wars Saga for a sixth time. I can say with absolute certainty that the day the next book in this Saga drops, I'll be crying from happiness!

I just love the whole extended universe with the divine key series and the soul bound saga. The different worlds all part of the same universe. I'm excited to see what Otto can do with the portals now.
So those two are also parts of the Portal Wars Saga? I thought it was pretty nuts that he'd drop "other worlds" right at the end and stop writing innthe series. From the cover srt I always got a sense of Stargate and thought it was wild that's hownit turned out to be. The Arcane Lords are essentially System Lords 😁
So on one hand I love any chance to see the world of the Portal War Saga again. On the other this has the major downside of ending and leaving me wanting more. Great addition to a great story mister Wisher!

Unfortunately writing and producing an audiobook isn't a speedy process.

I bought the portal wars on the kindle as a bundle and spent the last few weeks burning through them. I wasnt goin to read this one but i figured with it being podcast sized id listen atwork. super happy i did. Any chance to get some more otto and an arcane lord made it well worth the time. Very much hope thw series gets more entrys down the line

The war with Audin is a prequel to the new trilogy. The trilogy itself is set about ten years later.

His Soul bound books are good too. And a different author, Michael Sisa, has "Legend of the Arch Magus" audiobooks that are really good too.
It is sad "litRPG" audiobooks are everywhere now with their immersion-breaking gaming themes. I like regular well written fantasy that is to the point of story and action like James Wisher does. Although Brandon Sanderson wrote a great Mistborn series, his popular storm-whatever books are super long and boring.

YES!!!! I love the ending!! The portal wars is my favorite and this puts a extended ending on the series that I absolutely love! And the follow up with the rangers daughter is a nice spin off. I cant wait to see what happenes next!!

I like how Otto actually stopped advancing after he had gotten peace. And then he does just what he claimed which was sit and learn. Now he has more opportunities to learn and I'm curious if there will be a new generation of immortal wizards who, while not arcane lords, become more powerful than them.
I love this world I need more from the portal war world

The next book I plan to upload will be the first book in The Immortal Apprentice Trilogy. It's set about ten years after this one in Colt's Land. A lot of the character from this story will make an appearance in the new one. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

This is a side story. It starts right after The Chamber of Eternity and ends a couple years after The Sanguine Scroll. Mostly it introduces some of the characters for The Immortal Apprentice Trilogy.

Yes, once I get the rights back from Podium. Should be sometime in 2026.
