    I remember buying the entire Ace Books Conan series from a fellow student when I was in middle school. He handed me a paper grocery bag filled with them before class at my school locker. That bag of books filled my imagination for years.

    I am glad sword and sorcery is making a comeback somewhat.
    I have almost finished a sword and sorcery type tale inspired by Robert E Howard's creation and Lee Child's Jack Reacher.

    I had all but given up hope that anyone would ever produce a Conan audio production worthy of the master writer and his brawling, carousing barbarian.
    Your work is stunning. The work is read with the understanding and masculine prowess of a man that grasps the fury and wonder of hell raising adventure. I salute you, sir.
    This is a dream come true, as "Shadows In Zamboula" is my absolute favorite of Howard's Conan shorts. My mouth now waters as I dream of your potential execution of my favorite Howard novella's, "The People of the Black Circle, "Red Nails", and "Beyond the Black River".

      The fiery, Conan stories were written by a powerful, hell raising writer that produced these stories in a brawling, 1920s oil town. They are deliciously Barbaric tales to entertain and ignite the fires in the hearts of true men. No doubt they will, as they always have, distress the delicate sensibilities of "civilized", modern, mama's boys with tepid water rather than hot blood flowing through their milksop's veins.

      Racism is natural. In this case it is nothing besides a fictional act of observation. You would have folks to be blind and not to notice nor to observe.
      Besides that the word is ambiguous being used for a multiplicity of sundry phenomena.

      The word "racist" has such vague definition as to mean many things. Is it "to hate irrationally"? Or is it "to observe characteristics"?
      Liars and deceivers will shift from one definition to another in order to deceive or make a false impression on you.

    • @ktk44man
      @ktk44man 6 месяцев назад +1

      I dispute the idea that racism is natural. Bigotry is indeed natural,but racism is a rather specific concept. It is to at the very least believe, but otherwise perpetuate the concept of race. It's important to understand that people did not always have our modern understanding of race, and that race is indeed a social construct. Modern science does not support the idea of races. Howard is definitely a racist, but it doesn't really seem to be of the malicious sort, more like Howard is finding inspiration in the eugenic racism of the 30's that was definitely popular to paint a picture of his world. The reality is, everyone in America is racist, because racism is ingrained in our culture. It takes work to deprogram that racism from yourself. @@SkeeterHowitzer
