For me Issues was so ahead of their time. Hooligans was the first song I've heard from them and I instantly fell in love. Just the blend of Metalcore, RnB vocals from Tyler and that DJ, literally everything I liked got combined. The self titled album still lives in my heart. Headspace is also a good album that got some bangers, but for me it's not on the same level as Issues. Just sad that Issues ended they way they did, but alteast we get Woe, Is Me back.

But Ive listened to it many times now and every song is good, odds are if you aren't a big fan of a song by them first listen it'll will grow on you overtime. I still have to keep recommending Sky Eats Airplane self titled album. Take all of the fun synth from issues and crank it up to 11. Them and I See Stars were such huge influences for what synth in metalcore could be!
Some OG shit right there. Sky Eats Airplane, HORSE the band, Enter Shikari... Then eventually I See Stars perfected the electronicore style with Digital Renegade and New Demons. I'm not sure how much a new listener in 2023 would like that early stuff, but it's for sure classic. Oh and Jerry Roush was great in Glass Cloud too
@@Washanuga Horse The Band was way too quirky and comedic imo. Glass Cloud was too djenty and chuggy, but their first 2 song demo/EP was good. Check out In Other Words or Goodbye Blue Skies 2011 EP if you want that nice perfectly balanced post-hardcore with electronic elements.

Oh man, I can't wait for Headspace and Beautiful Oblivion. I have a million riffs permanently burned in my brain from those albums.
The Langdon House is such a banger. Loved this album to death at the year of its release. Massive influence to metalcore at the time
Diamond Dreams is an acoustic EP the next album is headspace and then beautiful oblivion.. however dont forget about the single Hooligans

I just listened to the SEA self titled album last night and it really took me back. Wish they'd get Jerry and that lineup back.
