Cystic Fibrosis Patient Suddenly Collapses In Public | Inside The Ambulance | Real Responders

- Paramedics attend to a patient with cystic fibrosis after suffering a seizure in the middle of a grocery store. His concerned girlfriend helps keep him calm as they go to the hospital. Elsewhere, a man has severe chest pain from a potential blood clot. A policeman has been involved in a minor car crash and paramedics inspect the neck injuries of the fellow first responder.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

Yep, it would definitely be time to pop the question and plan a quick wedding. Even if you have to marry in your jeans as my parents had to do back in 1968 because you can't afford a big wedding, a marriage is the best way to ensure that you will always have her. My parents are still married, by the way. They never had the wedding dress and the whole nine yards, but that never matters in the long run.

The way Molly was so calm and seemed to know how to deal with this sort of thing + the brace on her wrist makes me wonder if maybe she's chronically ill as well. If so, they're both lucky to have each other, having a partner who understands you on that level is amazing. Hope they're doing well :))

I have Cystic Fibrosis and I’ve never had any of my doctors mention a risk of seizures due to it. I wonder if it was truly somehow related to his CF or a completely unrelated/freak instance thing. Something to discuss with my care team in the future for my own sake. I hope he’s doing good now and that he and Molly are going on strong!
I wonder if it has something to do with lack of oxygen. He did mention blood sugar and Nathan seemed to be hungry just before the fit. There was also changes in medications. Good to ask doctor though.

Now that's girlfriend to keep. he is lucky to have her in his life. I had go through same thing with my Boyfriend. he had a seizure at a theme park we went to. last year. he stop breathing at one point. it was scary, I never seen someone go through one and I thought I was going loss my boyfriend. having a dad as EMT. I was always told growing up. if see someone having a seizure, just don't panic, just remain calm, get help and let the first responders do their job, gave them room to work on that person. Molly did everything right and remain calm though out it. Bless her 💗 I hope Nathan, finally got his Hotdogs lol

Surprised to hear pneumonia, kidney infection when patient just had a shoulder replacement. Would have thought blood test before surgery would show problem with white blood cell count!? Love your program, the technicians, the music, the patients who obviously consent to being filmed.❤😊
My guess is the Foley catheter inserted during surgery may have caused irritation and caused an infection. They brew slowly and then hit you like a ton of bricks!
