I adore these shows. I love the work these paramedics do it’s touching to see people caring about other people
The helicopter was in the middle of the field and I found myself a mix of emotions. I felt so sorry for the older lady who was in so much pain. Such respect for the paramedics and crew. And then admiring the the beauty of the landscape.
Thank you to all the boys and girls of the Irish National Ambulance Service for all the hard and dedicated work you do as you help patients from all over your country. The way you are personable with the patients to try to help the patients stay calm and feel better by talking to them is awesome. Ireland is a beautiful country and one of my primary ancestral countries but I'll probably get to visit because I'm 54 years old. My first job is corrections officer at a state prison in Texas, USA and my second job is volunteer firefighter in Clute, Texas where I live and where I'll get paid per call I go and work.
You EMS professionals are very good humans !!
God Bless these people for doing all they can for us all! ❤
I love these shows all the way from Australia.
May Alexander same mate, thinking of becoming one too

after my mum died of a sudden stroke and finding my brother in epileptic fits/overdosed etc I am really thinking of being a nurse but love watching these for the other perspective in scenarios. great job guys
Follow your dreams, sister Rosie :)
I wish you all the best
You would make a great nurse. You know how the family feels and you have a love and heart to help people. Not everyone is cut out to be a nurse. Good luck and pray for God's guidance and his help.
Compulsive viewing. I love the craic between all the staff, as they say they're like one big family.
Love Ireland and the people there
I'm glad these videos are still available after 5 yrs! I like this!
Absolutely love Paul’s accent!
Femur fractures are one of the absolute most agonizing injuries a person can have, poor woman 😰
I hope the poor lady had a very quick recovery x
I had one once, horrible pain. Hope the poor lady is feeling well
I can't understand how she fractured it - by falling from a park bench?
Totally Agree 👍. Largest bone in body. Cared for a lot of people. Pain expressed ? I am privileged
Amazing training for these guys
Well done all. From South Africa 🇿🇦
I love their accents. Thank you for what you do. 😊
I like when they show the AgustaWestland air ambulance 🚑 🚁
This is my dream job ❤️
I just love the Irish accent 💖...
All my relative's from my grandmothers side come from Cork. I didnt inherit any Irish accent just a typical Aussie accent and proud of it..😎
Ireland has multiple different accents not just one, Dublin alone has more than one
Very interesting video! Have a great day! 😊✌
Dave's got the gift of the gab. Of course he has, he's Irish! I don't know any Irish people that don't! 😂
Macchirpy, a definite plus in his profession.
They are nice air ambulances
This is so interesting
Without compassion there is no EMS!🚑💓🚒💓🚑
This is my second career choice if my first one doesn't work out ❤💯🚑
Anjelica Romero whats your first?
What's your first choice?
Don't set your self to failure
Cool
Good luck with either one! My best friend is now in paramedic training, she says it‘s tough but worth it!
OMG You ambos were so rough putting that patient in the ambulance.
Intresting! Im still watching it☺

It’s in Ireland
why does this have only 20k views? ugh
216,010 views now. Still so few!
F for respect
Wish they gave us pain control in the United States!
2:50 the medic working the BVM at the head would have been electricuted. He wasn't clear at all. His legs were toughing the paitent
Yep
All the paramedics and EMTs on this show have such humor. I loved it when Eammon couldn't help adding that "The Tipperary Accent was voted the sexiest accent in all of Ireland." *SCREAMING*
N I Accent is Beautiful 😍
The Irish system seems similar to those here in Australia. Our ambulance services are run by each state government (except in WA and NT), and luckily money for ongoing training and equipment is readily available. Is the Irish service free for citizens like here in Queensland?
Yes, the ambulance service in Dublin (capital city of Ireland) is provided by Dublin Fire Brigade/Briogáid Deotáin Baile Átha Cliath and is funded by the Government of Ireland (Rialtas na hÉireann) through the HSE (health service) and Dublin City Council, outside of Dublin it is dealt by the HSE National Ambulance Service/An tSeirbhís Otharcharr Naisiúnta
In Victoria Australia it helps if you are ambulance member or will get a big bill from them but they will normally let people pay it off.
No system is free. The taxpayers pay for everything.
@@billwilson5341That's true. But like police or fire service It's "user free". A lot of our funding comes from profits from the government run lottery system.
Love that sexy Tipperary accent!
Disorientated?? LOL!! Disoriented is the word!! Poor lady getting bucked off a bench!
Is that what they say in America?
Very interesting, I wouldn't be able to do that job myself. Unfortunately veery hard to understand for me as a non native speaker. What accent is that?
Irish.
Can anyone else understand more than 60% of what O'Donochue says? Normally i am good with accents but not today it seems.
I really do need subtitles...and for him to slow down! I can't keep up!
Yes.
That Dave's accent is sometimes so difficult to understand.
32:50 Woof~
Potential student paramedic here
This is sad :(
what university in this?
Does anyone know which medication they use with the MAD? Ketamine?
Only if there is a doctor.
Wow! It’s amazing that in Ireland even poor people get medical care! In the US, if you needed a helicopter AND medical treatment, you’d end up poor. Can’t pay, the medical community will take everything you have left.
We are blessed in UK 🇬🇧
Do paramedics ever find out what happens to their patients after they drop them off at a hospital?
Sometimes. Sometimes they don´t. But it also depends on the country. Personally I´m from Germany and a volunteer firefighter. So I am in contact with a lot of paramedics. They told me that they sometimes find out what happens. But as far as I know they are not allowed to get information from the hospital. They have to wait for the patient to tell them what happened to them.
If you can talk to the doctor you can ask but usually no your job is to get them there
I'm an EMT. Most of the time, we do not. Sometimes, we may find out if we go back to the same hospital that night, but it doesn't happen often.
There are provisions for us to do patient follow-ups but for most patient's we don't find out the outcome... At least in the city of Cincinnati Ohio.
It's possible to find out (here in america) but most proabably don't.
There aren't enough advertisements in this 40 minute video.
Why so many bloody ads! Every 5 minutes or so. They really interrupt the story! Grrrrr
People with COPD aren't always smokers but often they are or were. *DO NOT SMOKE!*
how come the boy in the thumbnail wasn't in the video?
Because he is a pilot of the Irish Air Corps/Aer Corps na hÉireann part of the military here
What would we do with out them hay
I have CPR and i love being a medic I love being there to do 1 thing save lives ya i can't do surgery or actual paramedics like hospital but I do have CPR and i love the medics all over for what they do what they stand for the danger I am level CPR level AB and C studied hard for it lol my biggest hero when it comes to medics was Eugene Roe he was a medic of Easy Company 101 airborne
Shane, thank you for picking this profession. It takes a certain person to do the job. I couldn’t do it.
shane upham: Try punctuation.
2:00 What'd he say?
Kathy Young long process. 2 years. Hardest part is the accents❗️🤣🤣
Jeje bye pss me e soo❤❤❤❤❤❤ 32:44 😊😊❤
My god its hard to understand some of these accents
I know! Timothy's Bantry Accent was really hard- I kept thinking he was speaking Gaelic over the phone.
I don't know what language this is but is sounds similar to english.
Almost as similar as American sounds.
Why does the transport ambulance need a paramedic?
NorthWest Firefighter in case a patient starts getting worse during transport
don't even understand the first guy
His wife is Norse?
#yay #Firstcomment
In America, I'd rather walk than take the helicopter and be in permanent debt
In Ireland it’s free
At first I thought this is in America, I did not realised that it was an Irish accent😂😂
How? America doesn’t have a National Ambulance Service or a Health Service, also there is multiple different accents in Ireland, not just one
They seem to be a bit behind overall
Umad I’m not sure this is what you mean but I think these videos were made several years ago (cell phones are old) and they put a newer date on them to make us believe they are newer.
am i the only one who finds their accents hard to understand? (i'm american)
These are the people who are going to save Conor McGregor after the Mob gets to him.
True enough.🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
i do love the accent but tbh i prefer latinos

I don’t mean to offend but I find it hard to understand some of these people because of their accent. I’m sure they feel the same about some of us in America.

Oh dear. The first patient had such filthy hands and nails! Poor old man. The family? Waiting outside! Obviously they don’t care for him on a regular basis. I know some old people can be difficult and refuse any help but to have someone to go and assist via social services?
Perhaps he doesn't want their help.
Sexy accent, indeed!
