Thanks for sharing/showing, it definitely helped me. I changed mine out today on my 13 Avalanche. Beat the crap out of it and lots of PB Blaster. Finally came out with some love taps from behind the hub assembly - after it was loose and the penetrating fluid was working I put the hub bolts back in part way and tap them gently and pushed it out. A slide hammer on the front would probably make it easier but if you don't have one, I've proven it can be done with out it. Start to finish was almost 4 hours - I was taking my time, first one of these I've ever replaced. Anti-seize on the new one before I put it in, everything torqued to specs. Quiet as new now.
Thanks for the video, fairly similar to my Pontiac front hub. I do have to say, where is your jack stand? to easy to get in a hurry and forget that all that is holding that truck up is a oring that can fail and then you have much bigger problems to deal with.
Very good,I'm throwing wheel bearing and axle away, the new hub & axle will not get impact treatment,Some mechanics don't Care,I'm doing it myself,Good Video,If A Mechanic says you need your boots greased,Take your grease gun Shove it in his Ears,100% guarantee grease will come out of his other Ear, Don't waste$$$
So far seams to be good, have not noticed any problems since replacement, I had to replace one on my 08' Acadia also and I think I used the same brand on it.

That impacting won't hurt the axle. But hey, a fool and his money are easily separated.
Awesome thanks for sharing!
How is the master pro hub holding up I have a 09 z71 also

Does the hub have to be greased before installing?
No it does not, the hub and bearings are all sealed
I would suggest greasing the axle splines just to assist in any future removal.
i think you mean hang the caliper not the rotor.
You’re so cute
