We finally remodel/upgrade our 1/2 bath. We did it all for under 1200$. With a little "sweat equity" some good friends and good beer we got it done. National average says 1/2 baths usually cost from 1500$ on up. Not the case of course when you do it yourself. If you want to know an item used in our remodel just leave a comment!

It was the fuel pump module try this first, especially if it is badly corroded, its only like 109$ plus tax at autozone!

    • @porterdoesthat6496
      @porterdoesthat6496 2 года назад

      Actually I did not, you would think that because other manufacturers tell you to put them the other way, it also depends on which direction the internal fan blades are facing, (straight vs. curved), on RUclips powerstop channel, where they install similar ones on the Titan they face the same direction as I installed mine, I assure you that I followed my directions, however like I said different manufacturers have different requirements.

  • @luvtsky

    This might be a dumb question but will you need a support post somewhere to keep the load bearing wall up?

    • @porterdoesthat6496
      @porterdoesthat6496 2 года назад

      On each end of the "beam", so one end of the beam ran into the exterior wall, so of course I had "cripples" under it, (just 2x4's under it in the exterior wall, the other side I used the same studs/cripples as the original header, then added one more cripple to it and in the end I decided to make it look like it was an 18 in beam with supports coming down, mostly to hide the trunk line for the ventilation, not sure if that makes sense, anyhow, if you take out a wall and put in an lvl or 2x12's you still obviously will have to support it on each end. Not sure if that helps, it's a little hard to explain, I wish I had better cameras back when I did it

    • @porterdoesthat6496
      @porterdoesthat6496 3 года назад

      If you are referring to the strut spacer, yes it uses the top of the strut bolts, you then get new hardware for the top of the strut spacer that goes into the mounting bracket, as far as the actual lower strut bolt, you reuse that bolt, the top of the factory strut has bolts that the new spacer joins to, then the spacer is what you attach to the strut mount on the truck with new hardware and it all comes with it.

    • @bbmaxi2k
      @bbmaxi2k 3 года назад

      @@porterdoesthat6496 Appreciate the information, so the factory strut bolts that originally held the strut on top, are tighten up on the strut first, then the spacer on top followed by the provided hardware? The spacer does not sit directly Ron the strut top it sits on top of the original hardware?
