Great pickups! I am currently waiting the set to replace EMGs on my ESP Eclipse E-ii. Since the guitar has three pots (VVT) I think to install two new pots (VT) without push-pull and add one 3-way toggle for voices instead of the 3rd pot. It will probably be a more convenient way to choose the voices. Does anybody see any problems with my idea?

Do you have this set on a Brushed Stainless Steel finish, or what are my other options...? Just Black?
Also l see a wiring diagram where there is “something” as a Single Coil in between the Neck & Bridge Humbucker- is the set coming wit HSH (3 pickups), or what’s going on? I was about to get a Modern but l like the fact that l can have a Single Coil tone...

Hi guys, I bought from a seller KSE Alnico. I want to modify my Telecaster Deluxe (HH) pick up into Telecaster single bridge Humbucker with one volume knob only but I also want a coil tap (voice 3) on it.
Can someone share some insight if it’s possible. Can you share your ideas in wiring diagram?

i see 1 volume knob and a three way toggle switch, push pull for voice 1 and voice 2 right?, how did you guys get the third voice in that setup?, or did you change the wiring just to achieve the third voice for this particular guitar and video?

I have a set on my brand new Dalbello Guitars Undici 6 string. They are amazing. Mine is wired up with a five way switch and push pull tone know.. Voice 1 with tone know down, voice 2 up. Positions 1,3,5 are bridge, both, neck for those voicings. Position 2 is single on the bridge and and position 4 is single on the neck
Ernesto Benschop any 2-way or push pull will get you there. If you wanna be slick, you can put something on the cavity plate

So what is the main difference between these, and the Devin Townsend set, I am guessing just a higher output in active mode for the Townswend set righjt?

@@kensusi7312 I have a Kiesel Osiris 6, with a five way switch, volume, tone. How hard do you think it would be to rewire it to a three way, push pull config?
@@Bierce88 not too hard, but you'd just need new pots and a new switch. That shouldn't run you too much tho.

Ken Susi is it possible to use a five way switch with any fluence set?
If you know what you're doing and choose to not use push-pulls, you can use a 5-way super switch to access certain options. This is not recomended but doable. It's best to use a 3-way switch with push-pulls.
God that tone is narcotic, make a 7 string version to replace my Keith Merrow set :-) :-)

@@Martinondindon Im actually not sure about that. Im almost certain the moderns were used on incarnate. in Joel's little video of him promoting fishman its for the moderns and in it hes talking about getting ready to track guitars...I dont think they voiced their own set until sometime after tracking that album which makes sense because then they would know what they wanted different. The guitar tone on incarnate is indeed sexy but the tone on this latest album is just fucking NASTY their custom set just has a growl to them that you dont hear on incarnate.

To my ears it sounds like voice 1 is closer to an EMG 81 and voice 2 sounds more like an EMG 85.

im searching for my dream pickups with this things on mind: chest breaker lowend, attack, clarity, good sustain and warm cleans...now im playing Seymour Duncan Blackouts (still need to fix my tone with them...they are very good pickups...but gonna have to work to take out all the monster behind the gold nickel covers) but in my next guitar im planing to use passive pickups like the Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient set...or maybe Fishman...they are expensive...but im thinking the Fluence Modern can be a good choice...just because the battery pack, it is an awesome feature that others don't have (sorry Duncan and EMG, love you both...but... there's another girl making me go crazy 😍)

I can not decide if this set is good to play other styles of music...- besides the metal...
I was a long time passive warrior, until the modern happened. It dies high gain extremely well, but it also does a passive setting with high output.
From what i can gather from your post, you might want to look at the fishman fluence classics. Modeled after the duncan jb and '59 pickups, they seem great but my experience is with the modern fluence and the ssa single coil.
That still does NOT help people watching RUclips- blah blah blah ... anybody can say, but let’s listen to a Solo, up and down, and some “melody”, not just damn Riffs...-
No one out there dare to take a Modern or KSE Set of pups and shiw us some lines of Soli...? Really...?
