Honestly so nice to hear Colleen say she has a blanky from childhood and that she still sleeps with it under her face. I do the exact same thing. As a 22 year old, I feel so out of place sleeping with mine. Especially at school or vacations with friends…but I can’t sleep without it!!
I'm 23 and still sleep with my blanky 2.0 the first is in a gallon sized bag because I used it to death but can't get rid of it, it is on a shelf above my side of the bed!

IM STILL LISTENING! When there’s 3 minutes left and colleens like “ I hope no ones still watching this , is anyone still watching this ?!” Guurl of course ! I love y’all so much !
Watching with my husband. He just told me that people with brown eyes see better in the sun because they let less light in and often do not think sunglasses are helpful. "Lighter eyes, such as blue or green eyes, have less pigment in the iris, which leaves the iris more translucent and lets more light into the eye. ... However, darker eyes act like a stronger filter for light, which means that dark-eyed people tend to see better in bright sunlight and are less susceptible to glare" Makes sense as to why you feel like you don't see as well when you wear sunglasses!
But Erik has brown eyes too 😎 and he loves the sunglasses simply She is so otherwise in many things, she doesn't even wear shoes ever... 😄 Unless it's a must or winter
This podcast is actually soothing and helps me relax. After almost being fired from my job this morning, Just listening to a healthy conversation about nothing eases my anxiety. Colleen and Eric feel like home
I know Colleen doesn't like to drift the podcast into serious route but i really liked the episode where she was going through her prayer journals, talking abt religious upbringing and was as fascinated by it as Erik and lots of other ppl. So when today in the beginning they almost started to talk abt explaining the concept of death to a child I was like ooooh hahah hopefuly someday you can do somewhat of a serious, deep segment. Love the pod so much! Edit: doesn't have to be only abt religion ofc
Agreed. I would love her to delve into her upbringing more. Specifically the religious element. I think there is evidently some cognitive dissonance there. MORE. TELL ME MORE
Same but I would also want someone who had a good, uplifting experience in the church to talk with her in the podcast. Not so that they can convince her to come back but so we could just hear both sides to see that not every person has had the awful experience Colleen had. :)
@Mandi W yes! Other moms too, that overlap might come for her and it’s a personal choice for everyone. Whatever makes sense to them and brings them comfort for their kids, I would hate for others to judge.
I never laughed so much as I did about Erik smelling Colleen's armpits and colleen equating that with smelling your own farts! I am curious though, could it have to do with pheromones? Sweat carries pheromones and the armpit is one of the sweatiest areas on the body. Maybe it is subconscious attraction due to the pheromones and now has become second nature for Erik to do.
I looove smelling the armpits of my boyfriend and it’s so weird bc for me every other person when its smelly it’s sooo eww hahaha and I hate it but with him is like I love it 😂😂😂 so weird and embarrassing 😂😂 I do think its something about pheromones or something (i hope so, and not just me being weird hahaha)
I think you’re right. I love to sniff my husband and I do it all the time. I don’t particularly go for his armpits but I love smelling him and I think it’s a biological thing.
I agree. I had this crush on a girl and honestly she smelled amazing. It was definitely just her natural scent. Your body naturally searches for scents that are super different to yours so that if they have a child, the child’s genetic composition is so wide and full of different things that the person would have more of a chance of survival in the wild.
I think it's sweet that she still has a childhood blanket. And the fact that Erik finds it endearing is also sweet. I love this couple! Sweet Sweet Sweet!
I can't believe they talked about Erik's noise! I laughed so hard when it happened. I watched it like a thousand times. I just kept going back a few seconds to rewatch it. I'm so happy they were made aware that it happened and addressed it on the show. I can't believe Colleen didn't notice it when it happened. LMAO

i think that’s a tricky one because i’m sure they wouldn’t wanna hurt anyone’s feelings if a fan has a name that they both really don’t like for a specific reason. i don’t think they would want to say which ones they didn’t like so it might not be genuine. they wouldn’t wanna make anyone with that name feel bad for having that name

The whole smelling thing is actually scientifically explained! It's about pheromones lol. If your partner's smell is good for you it means they're genetically compatible to make strong/healthy offsprings or something, it's a nature thing
I remember watching a documentary on the whole smelling. If you stink really bad to someone, it normally means you're related in some type of way or you're not compatible to make strong healthy offspring. In the study, they took smell samples, had people smell each sample. Then the people met in person and a lot of them found each other attractive. Of course with the test they didn't know which sample went to which person. It was a pretty cool documentary

I definitely listened ALL THE WAY TO THE END 😂😂😂 y’all are absolutely HILARIOUS and I can for sure relate to many of the additions/obsessions. I have to say the BEST part of the entire podcast was at the end when Erik said “let’s leave with, can I just get in there” LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣
I’m still listening & I’m so glad cause y’all are amazing! Thanks for letting us all be part of your beautifully strange, completely hilarious and totally relatable conversation. ♥️
I'm obsessed with smelling my husbands armpits. He was SO grossed out by me doing it. He was consurned it meant I was missing some nutiant or something. And at a Doctors appointment he asked the Doctor about. And he said faramones. The smell combination of his natural smell and his deodorant was just comforting and appealing to me. I still do it every opportunity I get.
Not only am I still listening, I am still watching. Lol I love that you talk about all the weird and gross things we all do and feel embarrassed about. This podcast feels like watching your vlogs - just hanging out with friends living real life, even when it’s boring or gross. I love it.
Colleen, I am 31 and I NEVER sleep without my blankie. It goes with me on all overnight trips. It’s probably 1/4th of its original size and has been covered in different material several times due to being in tatters, but it is one of my most important possessions. No need to be embarrassed, you are not the only one!! 💜
I feel the same about sunglasses as Colleen haha. And actually I think it’s more of a women thing. My theory is that we have to be on guard all the time and the idea of our sight being limited is flippin scary. Men don’t have to be on guard as much and I think thats why you see them where sunglasses more often
I was listening to this while walking in the street on my way to work and I just started laughing so hard at the armpit smelling/fart smelling things😂😭😂 People looked at me weird but wow that was so worth it Also, you’re not alone Colleen: I can’t stand the taste of water🤢 it has to be suuuper cold and filtered 🥵
omgosh 44 minutes in & im legit crying laughing! 😂😂😭😭😭 whyyy is Erik so fucking funny & put him with Colleen im seriously hurting!! 😭😭 Erik sniffs Colleen's armpits like a dog sniffs another dog's butt. he literally said "im getting to know you!" as if he's not married & (soon to be) 3 babies deep with this lovely woman.
Yes, Erki!! I absolutely cannot drink out of anything metal especially a metal straw. I can taste the metal in every drink and it ruins everything. I completely agree with you!!
Congratulations on the crumbled walls, and thank you for the laughs. Lots more I could say about this extremely entertaining and fun podcast but I’m definitely still here listening and THOROUGHLY enjoying it🤣 Colleen, gurl, I have the same “hate”relationship with water. My family gives me so much flack for it, and I know “it’s good for you”, but, I simply loathe it. There is water in all my other beverages, and I choose to hydrate with anything but water, lol!! Extremely ice cold water can be refreshing…I tolerate and sometimes enjoy it on a hot day after yard work, but it’s rare and I’d rather not!! I also only (rarely) drink milk ice cold, or not at all. Metal retains the cold, you’re ABSOLUTELY RIGHT…I totally get it!!! 🥶 You certainly aren’t the only one, lol! Glad to know I’m not alone in my anti-water madness, too🤣 Speaking of water, the beach is my happy place…THAT water I love, and no one asks me to drink it🤣☀️🌊🏝
Of course I’m still watching!!! Literally with my chin on hands staring at my iPad. I LOVE this episode and fully related to everything. My must-haves are lip balm, a variety of toothpicks (Whisps are holy grail), kleenex, cuticle oil (to keep me from noticing the white pieces of cuticle that will send me into a chewing frenzy), hand lotion (must be quick absorbing, and applied to BACKS of hands to reduce amount on the palm cuz no), water, hand sanitizer (since way before pandemic), a pen and paper is some sort. All these things are in each everywhere I might be - bedside, desk, end table by couch, purse, car at minimum. Of course kleenex is everywhere including my closet- there are 5 boxes open in the “master” suite alone. I cannot abide dry lips nor a runny nose.
im a little late to watching this episode but i have to say that this has made me laugh so very much. i also think it is cool to see erik come out of his shell so much as the podcasts go on. he was more quiet and shy but now he jumps in and says so much and gives ideas and makes asmr and just so many things. i have loved watching him become more comfortable right before our eyes!!!

I will admit that the smell of my husband’s armpits do not bother me- in fact it’s kind of comforting- unless they’re just actually gross smelling 😂 i think this is normal! I’ve heard of other couples doing this before
Yeah I think it's probably a safety/comfort/proximity thing.
I love it hahahaha
I’m exactly the same with my husband’s armpits 😂
Ok weird but I love smelling my husbands armpits lol as long as he’s not coming straight from the gym lol
It might have something to do with pheromones!
1:26:00 *I ALWAYS listen to the end, this is my comfort podcast i love you guys’ company* 🥰
I’m still listening and I was thoroughly interested in your banter in this one!
27:26 is one of my favorite clips of you I might have ever seen , as I see your cute little belly and your smiling face , you say “seashells!!” Almost with a slight lisp , it’s so funny and adorable. I will be coming back to watch this over and over again, I love you Colleen ! I know your struggling a lot right now but just know you made a 26 yr old full grown women way too giddy and happy at 3:30 am , lol you mean so much to me and I wish I could let you feel how much joy you bring me on a daily basis. You and your whole family, are so special. I’m so happy I found you so many years ago. You’ll always be my happy place, even if you’re not happy, and I really mean that.
You guys literally make my Wednesdays every single week! I love the podcast and will continue supporting as long as you keep making them! Loads of love! 💕💕
I still sleep with a blanket that my great aunt May made me when I was a kid. It was the second blanket she made me because the first one basically fell apart because I brought it everywhere I went. Now that she’s not here I can’t imagine getting rid of this blanket or not having it near me when I sleep. Glad to know I’m not alone. ♥️
I fast forward through most podcast ads. I only listen to the ones on this one. Y’all are so great. It’s like hanging with 2 friends one night each week.
same for me. also with colleens daily vlogs!
Same
This podcast had me laughing out loud so hard, like legitimately. The Eric’s weird voice part and the armpit part had me crying 😂
Erik was [for lack of a better word] *unhinged* this episode and I loved it hahahah I was laughing so hard at everything he said. This one especially made me feel like we're all friends lol and I definitely related dw. still listening
Always still listening. and Colleen, you are an amazing human. Never forget that.
If you guys could see the excitement from me every week when I get this notification! your podcast helps me so much to distract from my chronic illnesses and it’s my literal favorite part of every week. These help me so much that I watch each one at LEAST 3 times😭😂 I love you both so so so much ❤️
I am so sorry!
@@Sara_McKenna 💕💕
I'm glad I'm not the only grown human who still sleeps with my blankies. They're just so comforting!! I've had them since I was born and I will never get rid of them
I'm still listening, Erik has me in stitches when he asks to sniff your arm pits 🤣🤣🤣
Listened to the end my friends. Love some background banter, while I start my day. Thanks for the fun pod!
I just spent a good 10 minutes wheezing-cry-laughing at the weird noise Erik made. Oh man so funny
I am still listening. My husband and I relate to you guys so so much.
Not only am I still listening, I am still watching. Lol I love that you talk about all the weird and gross things we all do and feel embarrassed about. This podcast feels like watching your vlogs - just hanging out with friends living real life, even when it’s boring or gross. I love it.
Colleen cutting off Erik talking about animals is the same energy as Ethan cutting off Donna talking about butterflies
yess
🤣🤣🤣 his apology to her was hilarious
lmao omgg h3 nation represent
Colleen, I am 31 and I NEVER sleep without my blankie. It goes with me on all overnight trips. It’s probably 1/4th of its original size and has been covered in different material several times due to being in tatters, but it is one of my most important possessions. No need to be embarrassed, you are not the only one!! 💜
When I tell you I DIED at Colleen talking about smelling your own fart 😂😂😂
She kinda has a point though 🤭😆
I’m still listening and this is the most relatable content I have ever heard.
Who else can't wait for the babies to be born?!!
Colleen
@@debrawinterfresh lol
Omg that armpit conversation. I literally woke up the family from laughing so loud and CRYING 🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣
I feel the same about sunglasses as Colleen haha. And actually I think it’s more of a women thing. My theory is that we have to be on guard all the time and the idea of our sight being limited is flippin scary. Men don’t have to be on guard as much and I think thats why you see them where sunglasses more often
I have light green eyes so I literally can’t function outside without sunglasses 😂
I can’t go outside without sunglasses on - any time of year. Overcast or not. My eyes are just extra sensitive I guess.
@@thoughtslikestars I didn’t realize green eyes were light sensitive, interesting 🧐
im still listening and i find this all very relatable so love it
I was listening to this while walking in the street on my way to work and I just started laughing so hard at the armpit smelling/fart smelling things😂😭😂 People looked at me weird but wow that was so worth it
Also, you’re not alone Colleen: I can’t stand the taste of water🤢 it has to be suuuper cold and filtered 🥵
I have yet to watch a single episode of Relax that I don’t laugh out loud! Y’all are the highlight of my week! 🤣❤️
Living for your hat, Colleen! They were really popular when I was a kid and I've had one too. You're bringing back beautiful memories!
omgosh 44 minutes in & im legit crying laughing! 😂😂😭😭😭 whyyy is Erik so fucking funny & put him with Colleen im seriously hurting!! 😭😭
Erik sniffs Colleen's armpits like a dog sniffs another dog's butt. he literally said "im getting to know you!" as if he's not married & (soon to be) 3 babies deep with this lovely woman.
Why is this actually my favorite episode
The segment with colleens bag is seriously the description of my life with adhd. That is the most relatable thing I’ve ever seen.
i love how he always goes “love…”
Yes, Erki!! I absolutely cannot drink out of anything metal especially a metal straw. I can taste the metal in every drink and it ruins everything. I completely agree with you!!
I love watching your podcast while I am doing jigsaw puzzles. You two are the best couple on the internet. ❤️❤️
Glad to know I’m not alone in my anti-water madness, too🤣 Speaking of water, the beach is my happy place…THAT water I love, and no one asks me to drink it🤣☀️🌊🏝
can’t wait to hear this before i go to sleep tonight, so entertaining
The blanket is simply a comfort object for whenever you go to sleep, no shame in that at all! Love you guys! ❤️
I love this podcast so much! They talk about so many interesting things! ❤❤
I cannot abide dry lips nor a runny nose.
omg this episode killed me, I was physically crying with laughter at the Eric smelling Colleen's armpit bit
I'm still listening! This podcast had become part of my weekly routine! Perfect way to relax while the toddler takes a nap ❤❤❤
as somebody who was listening to this at 3 am, the “special version” of the theme song was horrifically jarring.
im a little late to watching this episode but i have to say that this has made me laugh so very much. i also think it is cool to see erik come out of his shell so much as the podcasts go on. he was more quiet and shy but now he jumps in and says so much and gives ideas and makes asmr and just so many things. i have loved watching him become more comfortable right before our eyes!!!
this was by far my fav podcast i couldn't stop laughing i love when u guys talk about random stuff it's actually very interesting lol
Yes! The totally mundane vibe of most of this podcast is my absolute favourite thing!
I will admit this is my first podcast im listening too, you are the first podcast I have ever watched! sooo other then watching colleen vlogs this is also my new obsession, I listen and make my jewelry at the same time! I'm glad I found you, you make me smile everyday!
I put an UNREASONABLE amount of ice in my water.. can’t stand any less
Colleen--try adding a small package of instant vanilla pudding (dry) to your cookie recipe (any type of drop cookies). When you take them out of the oven drop the tray of cookies on the counter and they will "fall". It makes them soft and yummy.
Love you guys so much. You two are so sweet caring kind loving supportive encouraging talented and just some of the most amazing people ever. You always brighten my days. Best podcast ever 💜🌻🌵
as somebody who has always and will always sleep with their baby blankie, i relate so hard to every word you said colleen. sleeping against it is the most calming feeling
Glad to hear Erik do some of the sponsors!!
Omigosh guys I love that Erik carries a toner mist! It's actually to rebalance your skins pH that one sounds like it's hydrating too.
I’m actually trying not to wake my sleeping baby by how hard I want to laugh at the armpit conversation. When Erik said, “I’m getting to know you” I had to hold my breath so I wouldn’t laugh.
I'm still listening!!! You guys are so relatable!!! Sending so much love to your happy family!
