Just picked up an alibi puppy. My Pyrenees mastiff growl at it. It did not give a s***...... Two 9 month old Cane corsos back down to this pup during lunch time. He's probably almost 4 months old... And the only thing he really back down to was the cat lol... But I think the cat f***** his head up...😅 Smart dog....
The breed does not need weekly baths - the fur is very self cleaning, with a much higher content of tallow - a type of fat secreted from the scin. This fat protects the fur from any dirt, which will fall of, or can be dried of. it also protects the dog from cold, diesease and lice - and should therefore NOT be washed out of the dogs fur! The Alabai has almost no odour coming from the fur compared to other large breeds - even though their fur contains more of this fat than most breeds. It is comparable to the fur of huskies, malamute breeds - a natural fur, that takes care of itself - so dont think that you as a human can go and improve on it with products! :)
You also left out if,,,,,,,,,,,I would like to know if a fence is a must or can you walk them supervised over 30 acres off leash, and they will come back when called. My mali mixes I taught the boundaries and will stop on their own, even when deer are there and I know when left outside alone,, yes a fenced yard I understand, but can they be trusted not to bolt? etc etc. Any input?
I have an Armenian Gampr and an Alabai.... The Alibai is not smart when compared to the Armenian Gampr. Alabais are good for protecting the home and nothing else. They're like those big beefed up bodyguards. All muscle and no brain LOL
Not true at all. It is one of the best LGDs.(A livestock guardian dog (LGD) is a dog type bred for the purpose of protecting livestock from predators).LGD are all very smart, because they are fighting with predators as Wolves ,who are very smart, and still are better then them.
@drazantodoric6040 Alabais are good for defending and protecting, but they lack intelligence. The Armenian Gampr, which is the king of LGDs, has an impressive amount of intelligence. I have both breeds, and the difference is astounding. Armenian Gampr for the win.

That's what she said.
I have an alabai and he freaking stinks. It's too cold to give him a bath outside, and he's 200 lb, so we just have to deal with his disgusting stench
@@stellaadler120 I have a malamute. She also stinks lol. Especially when she gets wet. It's absolutely awful 🤭
@@juicyj3819 😆 I feel your pain

The big ones can be up to 250 pounds

@@CentralasianshepherdAlabaiUSAwe have one that’s 827 poinds
You forgot to include the lifespan of the Central Asian Shepherd....and dogs aren't products, they're living creatures.
They tend to live longer than the average big dog. Not unheard of to see lifespans of 13 years and beyond.
My Alabai lived up to like 15 years it's the longest life span of alabais
I have actually a 150 pounds husky X alabail of 2 years
I have a female Alabai and she's over 120 lbs
I own an Alabai, he has his ears not shoped. It should be forbidden. 😊❤
Yes,selling dog ears in shops should be forbidden
My alabai has beautiful ears and tail
Je to nahovorené trochu jednoliato -ťažšie sa rozoznáva aj začiatok a koniec vety.
Sono cani bellissimi ❤❤❤❤❤
Looks like you have mix Kangals and Alabais in here?
Looks like motherdog Qartuli Nagazi but doubt that.
