The Central, unlike many breeds can have vastly different traits. At the highest level, there are certain things that all Centrals have or do like all others; They are big, they are strong, they are fast, they are loyal, they are loud. From my 30 years working with them, they are devoted to everything in their territory, dogs, cats, stock, people. We were lucky, all of ours were very loving to the kids and grandkids, from the time they were babies to teenagers. They never seem to forget anything. Ours also all shared a common trait of letting us know if a fence went down, they refused to leave their property unless on of the charges left the property, then one would follow and one would stay to let us know there was an escapee. Some loved to go for a ride for a big adventure and others never wanted to leave the property. We had one who believed that leaves falling from the other side of the fence were a real threat and some who believed that squirrels were the only real threat they faced. This is not a breed for the vast majority of people in the US but for those who are the right owners, there is no better breed of dog. They are quirky, funny, silly and serious as a heart attack all at once. One of their favorite things to do was to have a giant wrestling match which sounded like a football game, crashing into one another, sparring like gladiators snarling and gnashing but never doing any damage, while at the same time, allowing our little West Highland White Terrier to believe that he was able to flip them over on the backs and have his way with them. I have never seen a dog with such a rattlesnake fast bite who could control that bite, midchop when they sensed they had reached the hairs on the back of your arm. They are like surgeons with they teeth and have seen hundreds of moles skinned without damaging the flesh in any way.

Yeah I got a 4-month-old it's 70 lb and it likes to wrestle with our 4-year-old golden retriever, but this dog he's really loppy and he hasn't quite got his motor skills down yet cuz he's big but he's very young so he's always flopping like a soccer player, and he's a big baby too if I leave him inside and don't take him out with me he'll start to whine at the door, He likes to go on car rides but he doesn't like to be left in the car while I go inside, but he's getting so big I can't even lift them up in the Jeep.. spring the squirrels will be coming out this ought to be fun..

To get the real information on this breed. I'd highly suggest getting Ekaterina Rekowski's book available on Amazon or you can order it from her to get the color copy.

There is a lot of misinformation in this video and when he talked about bulldozer that dog is a mixed breed it doesn't have pure central Asian shepherd In it. $200 to $500 for a central Asian shepherd that's a joke I know some there are well over $3000 here in the United States If you wanna actually learn about the breed check out Katarina Retowsi's book about them the only book written about them in North American and in English then English. That book should be a requirement for anyone thinking of getting the breed

Do your research a little bit better - Central Asian Shepherd dog time from Turkmenistan Alibai stock. Roche and saw them and said hey what a great dog since wore his killed all of our good dogs and because of some political bulshit an outbreak of disease, we had to kill a lot of them so let's just snag some of these and start breeding them and mixing them with other Shepherd dogs and from that came the hyper-aggressive Caucasian Shepherd and the Central Asian Shepherd dog, both of which have show lines that are not worth a damn gamma as their bodies get bigger their teeth get smaller. Their heads get so big they have to have cesarean birth. Only the worst genetic specimens have to go to a doctor to give birth! I had a cross bred Jack Russell Terrier/God-only- knows- what- else- and- he -ain't -tellin' mix, and she knew who she wanted to stand for infant and want nothing to do with any other dog that jumped in our backyard to court her, she would only stand for the long-lived old man, Pierre the Poodle down the street. Natural selection bred dogs have an innate ability to know who they should breed with. Let them choose - all of Ruby's babies lived to a ripe old age in their late teens. People are not making the best choices for their dogs and are weakening their genes!
