I have huge soft spot in my heart for Saint Bernards! We had one named Oscar who was loving , playful, loyal , great dance partner and he was my own personal guardian in life. He was extremely devoted and protective towards me. Oscar had protected me from carjacker by physically attacking him away from me and stood between us until carjacker took off with his ripped in half hooded jacket. Oscar was my beloved hero! LOL , he had stopped my brother’s bullying despite the fact that Oscar was his own dog. Oscar had imprinted on me and bonded with me from the moment that he had first met me as puppy. No matter what my brother tried to do , he could not prevent Oscar wanting to be with me. Oscar had learned how to open our shared Jack’&’Jill bathroom doors to come sleep and cuddle with me. Oscar’s best animal friend was black tuxedo cat named Samson who had slept with him and he had ridden on Oscar’s back during walks when Oscar was outdoors.
My Great Dane got up to 230 lbs when he was about 5. He was over 37 inches at his front shoulder. We leaned him back down to 210. He was such a good boy, and so snuggly and gentle. Rest his soul, Titan died when he was 8.
Sorry for your Great Dane
Love the Danes. A very special breed. 🐾🐾
Rest his soul
Yes.....I too had a great Dane.....was the best friend I ever had......they are one of the best breeds...humble and caring for us always
RIP Titan! Love the Danes though...
My Tibetan Mastiff has been the best dog I've ever owned love her, she's 3 now 130ish Lbs and such a great guardian, always makes my family feel safe when I'm gone for work.
Owned a Leonberger and would not own any other dog. The most affable friendly and loving animal i have known. Soft natured too. Wonderful.
i have one and he is clearly one of the most clever dogs i have seen he’s a huge dog too but he’s so loving and such a great guardian
Simply put, they are the best breed. Anyone who owned one, will always have Leonberger's.
Love Leonbergers. We have a bernese mountain dog. She is a joy!
Leonburger ❤❤❤❤
😏 my dobbie is better.. 😫😫😭😭
I love Saint Bernard my friend had, they are so lovable and smart. Also very good at protecting family.

Bro..
St. Bernard’s are such loyal loving 🥰 dogs.
Yyyaaasss I have one named Diesel but he is a runt from the litter and weighs 162, and he is a great dog:)
Most definitely in agreement with you! I had one named Oscar who was my savior hero in life since he had first met me as puppy. He had guard and protected me from day one. I had been asleep in sleeping bag and he had crawl under my head as living pillow first day that he had saw me. He would not let my brother near me at all. My Mom had told me this story after I had woken up to Oscar licking my face. He was my brother’s dog but Oscar had been ultimately devoted and guardian of me since day one no matter what my brother had done to tried change Oscar’s own feelings and opinions on the matter. Oscar would obey me instinctively with no ignoring my commands but my brother had struggled with Oscar and he would not accept my help. Our Dad had to help my brother and Oscar was finally obeying him but he did refused all commands that separated him from me. You can not force dogs nor any other animals to choose you over someone else in their affection and devotion in life. I had Oscar who was my big shadow and Snizzle who was my much smaller shadow in my childhood. It was sight with me being shadow on walks by my beloved dogs who had never left my sides even off leashes. My parents had gotten miniature Poodle- Schnauzer mixed named Snizzle for me after my brother had gotten Oscar. Our Mom had always said that I have natural connection with young animals all of my life as long as she could remembered.
I had a German Shepherd who was 120 pounds. he was so loyal and protective. no one would ever even think about doing anything stupid around me or he would let them know it. I miss him so much. He died of intestinal cancer when he was nine. I want to get another dog soon. I will be retiring and love dogs so much. they are truly mans best friend and I can't think of anything other companion I would rather have. much more loyal than a wife or children I have them to but I think the dog will be a nice addition as I can be with him when I need affection LOL
i got a five year old 180 pounder leonberger and he’s actually the best doggo ever can’t lie
I love Kangals and St. Bernards💕
I owned two saints and one newfy ... love them, best dogs I have ever owned and thinking of getting another newfy. FYI, newfys have webbed feet and one of the reasons they are such great swimmers.
I have a Saint Bernard and have had many. Newfoundlands are beautiful. I saw a gorgeous one at a show recently. I would like out find out more about them.
Newfie can here too. My little 10 month old Newfie girl is already at 110lbs and she’s getting a “baby” brother for Christmas. His breeder has been producing 140-150 pounders . That’s a lot-o-dog.
@Micheal Capovilla, how are you doing if i may ask
If you love both those breeds, a leonberger sounds like a great choice aswell, leonberger primarily descend from those two
I have a Dream of having a Saint Bernard and a Newfoundland one day. ❤️❤️ I will definitely achieve this dream.
I've personally met a leonberger that weighed 205. Even just him walking toward you to get some pets triggers some instincts lol
A dog is a man's most loyal companion. More loyal than other men, women of even their own children.
Tibetan Mastiff are really big. It's sad that it didn't make the list
Yeah they r super cute to we breed them and I cant wait for the new puppies
They are cross bred nowadays they dont meet the standard
I think the published don't like Tibetan mastiff.....
@Keyser Soze But Chinese people are the ones spending the most to buy tibetan mastiffs.... Some Chinese guy bought one for like 1.8 million or some shit.
Admin of this page is dumb
We had a Kangal. Amazing dog. Has to be trained very very well. Which we did. He was so friendly and I loved to playfight with him.
@Music & Exotic Animals with Mr & Mrs Sennon please that's a Savage dog in a lightweight category
My neighbors have 2 of them. Male is huge and female is too small
@@sitdowndogbreath I have a Kangal and a Alabai (Central Asian Sheperd) Both very strong dogs that need a heavy hand (like most dogs do...theyre bigger... they know this so they try you more which is why you need to be harder on them).
I owned a Newfie, she was smart loving and silly. She died at 6.5 yrs of age, cancer. I cried and cried so hard. Broke my heart!
I just saw one at the vet Sat and it was HUGE!
So sorry there are babies
Our 2 year old Newf is the sweetest and funniest dog I ever had or met for that matter. They are definitely special friends!
I feel bad a lot of these dogs only live to 7 or 8 cos they’re so big.
Fine Art Our Great Dane turned 10 years old last year. He is still going strong. ❤️ Our Great Pyrenees lived to age 12.
Which is why I only get small dogs 😌
I would rather have a Grrman Shepard. My last one lived to 15.
It doesn't matter how long your dog lives. It matters how you love each other. One of my Saint Bernards died at age 5 of gastric tortion. My friend's Saint Bernard lived to be 15 years old.
Kangal live up to 15
I actually can’t imagine a 360+ pound dog. My Rotti, Elvira was about 90 and we have a three month old Pyrenees who’s daddy was 120. All of them are majestic and beautiful.
I have a champion Boerboel. They have to be the strongest dogs with the most muscle...looks like they're weight lifters. Love this dog!
Wait a minute... did that dog just have abs?!!!

Hello Friends, Which of these Heaviest dogs did you like the most ?
Caucasian Shepherd
Sarplaninac
@@LionessDuckie
I definitely agree. Love this breed.
I would love to have one.
(I had three great Pyrenees. I still have one,
the female.)
The English Mastiff was my favorite but what happen to the Neapolitan Mastiffs
Alabai
Left out the Giant Alaskan Malamute..... had one at 185 lbs. Great dog.
The Neapolitan Mastiffs should had made the list
The boerbol is from stock of old German boxers what where
Left behind by the Germans and then .mixed with some local dogs
Tibetan mastiff🙄
The Dutch are original from are where from Germany Holland was once part of Germany there speak a niederdeutsch dialect and the boxer is a molasser there did not look like there are today there where once wardogs big heavy and broad
We are probelby both wright history oh boy oh boy what a job
I think Sarplaninac should be on the list also
Kangals are lovely! Gentle giants.
👍
Both the Neapolitan Mastiff and the Tibetan Mastiff should have made this list.
Bucovina Sheperd also , massive!!! I’ve seen many
And bully kutta as well (Beast From The East)
I was surprised the Great Pyrenees (Pyrenean Mountain Dog) wasn't on the list. Tibetan Mastiffs are massive, it should have been on there.
He is DEFINITELY a Georgie. I must say this is the first time I've seen this channel, and that narrator is amazing! He's so energetic, it almost sounds like he should be narrating a professional film or something.
I love St. Bernard😍☺
i love them all
I want all of them. All. Of. Them. Love big dogs 💖 my daughter has a Dane mix . He's so sweet.
Gotta Catch em all ! Lol
1:00 agiler not even a word lol
Mastiffs!! Great content
I found my dog in West Turkey on a field! He is a Mix from Kangal, Tibetian Mastiff, Caucasian Shepard and Border Collie!!! And soo cute!!!
I’d have to say St Bernard,Bully Kutta ,Caucasian Shepherd and,Tibetan Mastiff, really all of these dog breeds I love!!!!!!!
Just a side note, the Boerboel is not a Dutch, but Afrikaans name of origin.🇿🇦
But quite impressed that South Africa is on the list 😂
St Bernard is a slobbering ball of fur.... awesome dogs
Highest living dog lmao... sounds like he wakes and bakes everyday
Caucasian shepard 👍👍👍🧡 from Armenia Caucas 🇦🇲
Boerboel has to be the nicest dog on this list.
Yeah right! They are generally nice, however, they are guard dogs and will exhibit territorial aggression.
I'm a proud owner of a Caucasian Shepherd very proud the second one I've had now I love her so much she's a big friendly bear who is about 140 pounds now she's told half years old and she's looking amazing
leaving out Tibetan Mastiff from this list is like leaving Ghenghis Khan out of the greatest conquerors list ... whoever put the list together has a bias ... T. Mastiff can get up to 300 lbs. ... I saw a couple in Inner Mongolia and I was pretty impressed, to say the least.
Lmao funny you mention Genghis Kahn considering he used Tibetan Mastiffs as war dogs
Check, Tibetan Mastif should be included in this group of dogs...Dont know why.....
Tibetan Mastiff is surely among the heaviest breeds.
Good point👍👍👍
@Ben Tackett no tm has ever been recorded over 220lbs and that's a fact! This guy at the top says 300lb is a joke a massive one would be lucky to be 200lb never in a millions years would one be 300lb I'm laughing so hard about that old english mastiff is much bigger breed of dog and hold the world record at 343lb recorded no other breed has ever come close tm is 75kg at max 100kg if u was very very lucky but guessing if u had one at this 100kg mark it would be a mix breed for sure
Fantastic . Thank you.
Enjoyed this, they are awesome dogs..
They are All beautiful!
That ~was a central Asian Shepherd puppy, called the alabai, they get as big as the Caucasian Shepherds, you forgot to mention the Bucovina shepherd from Romania also a huge dog and the gampr dog and the Tibetan Mastiff another beautiful dog all these dogs are very cute and playful as babies, as puppies as well as all the ones mentioned in this video, i love them all even the very cute chow chow puppies and samoyed puppies, and Akita inu, Alaskan malamut, Siberian husky, I'd take em all
Alabai can grow bigger ohh bro, i seen them, even if i have CS 5 of them, my friends dad owns alabai someday he walked 2 of them when i was returning from shop fuck no i returned back into shop 😂
We had a white Bully Kutta aka Pakistani Mastiff (just like the one at 05:23) during our school going years. He would walk (3 KMs) with us to school and come back in time to pick us all by himself. We don't know how he used to figure that out. The best thing was that nobody would even talk loudly with us, that is how fiercely protective this breed is. He would immediately know if someone is looking for trouble.
Back in the 70s a stray dog came to our house, we played with him for a few days fed him to. We live in a very small town and my older sister who played with him the most was taking him home. It was a saint benard. She got about a block from the house and the dog turn on her. Lucky for her she was in front of my parents best friends home. They got the dog off her and call my mom, and this is were it gets so strange, while my mom was talking on the phone our family dog could tell my mom was upset and she said my sisters name. When she open the door our dog flew out of the house down the block straight to my sister and smell her she was covered in blood. He then took off to right where they had the dog and attacked him and would of killed him if left to it. Our dog was a mix of pit bull and boxer, when they got him off the dog he went right back to my sister . She had to have 80 stitches in head and shoulders. That dog had attacked people before her and nothing was done about it. Till it got my sister, she was 14 at the time. We have always been Animal lovers and bought strays home, and that didn't stop her or us from doing it.. you would of thought it would and we still do it..
Kilograms are good to weigh dogs.
80 stitches is lots, poor girl must of hurt. Dogs are good when trained.
It's nice too know that u guys are still animal lovers even after such an horrible incident! I'm thinking that dog prolly wasn't raised right & more then likely had experienced some sort of trauma inflicted by its owners. I'm glad your sister is ok.
That is a lot of stitches!
And it is sad to hear of a St.Bernard being not sound of mind... A thing I have seen in several dog breeds over the past 5 years... Play full one moment and very aggressive the other.
Me going awwwww on every dog 😂😂
The narrator sounds like a real drama queen.
I love OVCHARKA!!!The best one!And Czekoslovakian wolf dog too!
I don’t want a dog who weighs more than I do. When I found out giant dogs only live 6 to 8 years, that made me sad; I get very attached to my dogs.
Look at Newfoundland. Get a girl from a reputable breeder and keep her on the lean side. She’ll do 10-12 years standing on her head.
What a beauty
You forgot Clifford
awsume life 😅😂😅😂❤️
xD
All dogs are amazing Bully Kutta seemed interesting
Tebitian mastiff : am i a joke to you
Wow 😍😍😍😍😍 love it
If I had a Saint Bernard I would name him Kujo, so when I’m at the park with this giant 220+ pound dog and people hear me call Kujo, they freaked out
Born_Wild_ #9 i got a huge leonberg called theo he’s 180 pounds he’s a bear
I think most people don’t even know who Kujo is ^^
I never heard of him
The caucasian shepperd is my favorite ❤
The English Mastiff should be number 1 in my humble opinion. As it says in this video, the heaviest dog ever was the English Mastiff. Also through research I've found that most respectable breed experts consider it to be the heaviest dog on average.
The English Mastiff is the heaviest dog breed.
No. The Heaviest Saint Bernard ever is 366 lbs. Saint Bernard is the Heaviest Dog breed in the world.
@@Nirsterkur No!!!
@@bordercollie1140 Did you watch the video until the end? 8:40 onwards?
I have a St.Bernese. she is the best mix. 100 lbs at a year. Gentle with the kids, calm quiet and everyone in the neighborhood loves her.
This pup looks beautiful. Great body posture.
I would name him/her "MAJESTIC"
Majesty. Or Debbie.
great video man
Spanish Mastiff could have made the list as well. I just got a pup so I’m kind of bias. But the father of my pup was 200 lbs and mother was 150 lbs. Still as a former owner of a Boerboel I’m happy to see those recognized on this list.
I love st bernards and caucasian shepherds
I think you guys missed some. Here are some breeds you might want to check out since they are heavy too. Neapolitan Mastiff, Dogue de Bordeaux, Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd, Fila Brasileiro, Irish wolfhound and the Tibetan Mastiff are some of them on the top of my mind.
Irish Wolfhounds tend to top out at around 130
@@stephenjamborino7493 yea Pyrs aren't that heavy either. I think my first 2 Rottie girls weighed the same if not more then my Great Pyrs FATHER. My Pyr (girl) is still growing but she's only 75 lbs at almost 2.
@@johnlee8523 girl pyrs tend to weigh less, I have a boy (a huge one at that) and he weighs 140. (He’s healthy too, just tall)
The English Mastiff is the heaviest dog breed.

I would name the beautiful puppy at the start of the video "Silver" because it's coat made me think of sterling silver. Sooooo beautiful.
"Who would name this cute little puppy"
*Bidgey*
I would name the puppy “Burger Boy” and call him “Burg,” “Burger,” and “Burgey”
I like the Leonburger and the ovcharka.
Dam I would love to have a big dog but I'm the one that needs some training first...lol
That's really the purpose of dog training. The handler is being trained.
More like my husband and our son needs dog training to take command of big dogs in my family. When we move next , we will be getting dog for me. We do already have seven in our cat family who only obeys me. I have explained that we all must confidently and firmly have command of dog and to train our future dog together or dog will walk all over them in not nice way especially if it’s dominant alpha dog. Right now , they are finally listen to me and doing training commands with our cats. Though, my son needs to work on his tone of voice to give commands. My husband have always been cat lover who had never grew up with dogs but he is now interest in dogs because of me. I do feel part of myself is emotionally and mentally missing without having dog in my life after growing up with dogs and cats as my shadows throughout my childhood. I am swinging between Saint Bernard or Golden Retriever for us and our cat family since I have huge soft spot for both breeds in my heart. Especially after I had been physically saved by my Oscar the Saint Bernard and Chasity the Golden Retriever at different points in my life.
wow, love the saint Bernard
French Mastiff should have been on that list.
♥️#10 is my pick
I like caucasian shepherd
Have a brother who had a BOERBEL & he said his animal was a exceptional dog. Very protective of his family & needed plenty of space. His eldest son has purchased a female BOERBEL & I hope to get a puppy when she has a litter! Want to see how the dog really is!
@ Henri Humphrey, how are you doing if i may ask
Tosa inu: you forgot me i can weigh up to 200 pounds
I'm naming the puppy Brutus. I like the big dogs but they would walk me I'm only 111 lbs, lol!! 😂🐕
We have Caucasian Shepherd. It's body structure closely resembles of T38 tank.
My mom wanted to get the Ovcharka as well. But damn they're expensive. Are they as protective with the family as they say they are?

@@Redhotrussian1Yes, extremely territorial and protective. When we take him for a walk, he is very dormant and cuddly, but once he is at home he transforms into a beast.
Sorry about the late reply, I didn't get any notification for some reason.
Buttons...id call him buttons.!
I would really like a Caucasian Shepard. It wouldn't get cold in the winters we have in Interior Alaska. And would probably make a great bear and moose protection dog.
It is definitely born for that purpose as both a livestock protector and guardian for your house. I plan on getting one myself from a breeder in Idaho, since I own a fair sized property, but with being in the country side, and needing something to protect the house from dangerous wildlife while having livestock, this is the perfect fit.
Be warned however, this type of dog is very stubborn and requires a lot of pre-care if not personalized training, socializing and you being its alpha. Males are the most aggressive, while females are happy to give anyone a chance, but to be honest, I would rather have the male and social it properly, so when anyone in my home, especially me, is in dire need of being protected by outside forces, be it people or coyotes, this dog will be the perfect "No." against the threat. This dog is not for anyone. You must have a strict code and prove yourself worthy of its affections and service, else it will be a threat to everyone, including you.
They need all year around cold weather to be happy and develop right.
@@Aeonoftherift great Pyrenees is a better option for livestock guarding
@@wolfsrain0000 They are fine in warmer climates if it's not too humid. I mean hell, there's a kennel in Nigeria which is hotter than Satan's asshole.

Having animals is easy. Its always up to the owner on how itll grow up. Just like kids. You have a parent who's abusive....well..you get the rest.
I would name him

Caucasian Shepard dogs are one of the most dangerous dogs around. They are fearless and will take on a wolf or fox or even a bear with no regard for their own lives. They are work dogs and very protective of their family. They are not for novice dog owners. My grandfather owns 7 of them but they are out there taking care of his herd of 400 sheep. This dog can easily kill a man. Loyal but very stuborn dogs.
We have a Leonberger-Landser mix, sadly she is a little (really big) scaredycat. But she sure is a joy (and beside from the Neverending vacuuming) the fur is soooo soft.
And on the Kangal... These Dogs need a lot of socializing work and a job to do. In late years they got sort of a 'In-dog' here. It's no beginner or half-assed owner dog. Please consider a dog that is more breed for human-near jobs (Kangals were bred to protect sheeps on their own), except you can give them a job like this.
(I volunteer at a shelter from time to time, and the Kangals and Kangalmixes are nearly impossible to resettle AND all of them are there because they owners couldn't handle them any longer (and I know of at least a dozen cases where they where put to sleep because they attacked someone)
