💀 💕 / 4⃣ Official credits for this song: Lyrics: BLACK BABYMETAL (Yui and Moa) / Music: BLACK BABYMETAL / Arr.: tatsuo, KxBxMETAL Yui and Moa made up this song during the Singapore 2013 tour, and repeated it over and over again to the point that staff complained. : ) To pass the time while they were on their tour bus, Su suggested the theme of "4" as a challenge to Yui and Moa after they successfully made up songs on the themes of "banana" and "wood". Koba decided to have it professionally arranged so Yui and Moa could perform it in concert. The song is about the number four. In Japanese, 4 is "shi" which sounds like the word for death and it is often considered unlucky. 4 can also be "yon". This song talks about positive things that sound like the words for 4. Examples include Bitamin no shi ("4" is for "vitamin C") and Oishii no shi. ("4" is for "delicious".) The last time this was performed was at the two 'Legend S' concerts, Su's 20th birthday shows in Hiroshima. Yui was supposed to be there, but it was announced at the last minute that she would be unable to perform. Moa performed the song as a solo, but the Japanese crowd helped with Yui's lines in the song.
I may add, that in China, Japan, etc. often no 4th floor exists in hotels/apartment buildings much like the non-existent 13th floor in western buildings of this kind because of superstition. And that's what "4 no uta" or "Song 4" basically stands for: It's a song against superstition!
Yui and Moa wrote this song on their bus, either before a concert or going to. In the old days Yui and Moa would perform as Black Babymetal while Suzuka took a break. Suzuka would perform a solo to give a break to Yui and Moa. If you are ready check this Suzuka Nakamoto (Babymetal) and Himeka Nakamoto (Nogizaka46), its Su-Metal performing with her sister long before going to Tokyo and Babymetal.
I was waiting... chomping at the bit to see how you two would handle that Reggae breakdown, and at 4:17, you guys didn't let me down! This one wins RUclips today!! Well done!!!
Yaaay BABYMETAL's back! '4 No Uta' or 'Song 4' - music and lyrics by Black BABYMETAL (yes, Yui and Moa have full writing credits on this one - although obviously they didn't do the musical arrangement). Legend has it that when they were on their first trip to Singapore, to pass some time on the bus Su challenged them to write a song about the number 4 (it has associations with death and bad luck in Japan so it is avoided, a bit like the number 13 in the west). There are two ways of saying the number 4 in Japanese (as I understand it) - shi, which also means death, and yon. In the song they are listing other words with 'shi' in them and saying they're not bad and they don't mean death, so neither does 'shi' as the number 4. So they are saying it is a superstition and people shouldn't worry so much - and then we get the clapping and 'Yon Yon' choruses. Apparently they drove the staff mad running round and singing this non-stop on the Singapore trip, the staff complained ... Koba turned it into one of the Black BABYMETAL tracks. With Yui gone it is highly unlikely we'll ever get to hear this (or the other Black BABYMETAL songs) played live again, which is very sad. Moa did perform 'GJ' as a solo throughout the tour in 2018 though.
Notice the rhythm counting 1-2 --- 1-2-3 --- 1-2-3-4 in the beginning and some later parts of the song instead of a steady beat, so the drums is contributing to more sides of the song than usual. Also fun that the 2 youngest and cutest have a couple of the heaviest songs like Sis.Anger and this one.
Previous comments have given you all the info. This compilation contains footage from their 2014 Brixton show in London. That is the show I missed by not being in England at the time. I missed it by two weeks. It still haunts my dreams!
Babymetal live, you've been there, nothing like it ! Such energy, such hype. That after the show you might actually get some a bit of a depression. Fans call it the Babymetal blues.
@@autohmae Unfortunately, yes. My family, most of my friends and all my work colleagues do not like BabyMetal. Let alone all the purists who can only accept four or five blokes playing four or five chords per song, as metal :-(
Thrown unexpectedly in front of a huge (60000?) ornery crowd of brit metalheads, 25mins of Japanese singing later, and they own the world, days after Moa & Yui turned 15. Watch the world get conquered right here. Btw they cut off the intro that told the crowd (in English) that she was tired of hearing about bullying(ijime), so the song title is “bullying, no, never” ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html

This one was definitely bonkers when I first heard it too on the cd. Great, funny reaction 😄 I'm curious how you guys would react to BxMxC now from Metal Galaxy.
i thought u've never seen babymetal😁😁 now they're duo😔 i mean not this yui-moa unit, but bcs yui left, now BM are just su and moa. plus additional member (3 additional member, always changing, for yui's position) no yui no life😔
I hate to bring this up now that you already reacted to the song but there is a much better version of this out there. Its one of the Japanese versions and starts off with them in rehearsals wearing normal street clothes plus onstage later doing the show. It builds up to the Tokyo Dome show eventually. Yes its another compilation but cleverly put together and much longer too. The song is really little more than filler but whatever it is about this band i love everything they do.
hello.... can you react to Therion (simphonic metal) live Wacken 2001. Second and Third songs from this concert please (only exist one video with the full concert) Thanks!

Actually, this year, no solos have been performed and Tatto/Kagerou turned into from what we thought was a solo-song into a non-solo song.
