I did a grill guard for deer, running boards, mud flaps, waterproof floor mats, oil catch can, bug shield, frame coating, and getting a box topper put on next week with the rear wheel wells coated. Need some window tint because the side of my face gets fried.

The Raptor Grille is what I’m most curious about, as it’s something I’ve had sitting in my cart on Amazon for sometime now, with my concerns falling upon the form fitting & overall quality side of things?! I have a 2016 Lariat edition and I hate the grill. I love the raptor grill you have but I also have a front camera. Has anyone seen a grill like in this video that supports the camera or knows how to get mine in there?
Oh man that’s a tough one. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult but really have no idea how it is wired in and what it would take to retrofit.

@@AutoHeadzox 2.0 resi-shocks all around leveled it out nicely. I will be saving for that grill. As for the LED fog lights I use Rigid Industries dually lights and a 18 inch barlight on front bumper where your plate goes. Also upgraded to F

Hey man, I know the vid is dated and you might not see this but going off of the CarPlay bit; did your truck come with nav already? I have a 2016 and it’s running sync 1 😢. I’m going to upgrade to 3 soon and swap the usb ports, but I’ve been wanting to know if there’s something in the truck that would prevent navigation on it or if it runs strictly off of your iPhone. Thanks brotha
Hey man. No I didn’t have nav. Apple car play upgrade is simply that. It allows your 2016 to use Apple car play in your truck. So you can display Waze, google maps, Apple nav etc on your display via your phone.

@@AutoHeadz I’ll test my luck lol. I’m sure it does. Like I said I have a 2016 and it’s loaded all the way around other than the sync system. Every video and forum I find on this issue; everyone seems to have gotten sync 3 on theirs automatically. Whoever originally ordered the truck I have must not have cared about that(or maybe it comes to where it was built or when it was built?) I have the 8 inch touch screen which is fantastic, but the software is way outdated. With your help, I’ve gathered that I need to just download the software from ford, and swap my dual usb module, and should be good to go.

I still can’t get mine to upload the Apple Car Play BS to it after buying the upgraded POS module to do it. Everytime I try to install it via the USB it says memory full and stops the update. So…I have a useless module sitting the console for the last year now that at least I was able to get refunded for via Amazon.
It’s a very specific install. If you don’t follow the steps exactly it won’t work.

@envisionbybvinson7516 I don’t blame you man. It worked for me doing these steps and still works great to this day in my 16 F150 but I can’t guarantee it will work for you. I have some people message me sayin it worked perfect and others saving that it didn’t. One of those things I guess

Yeah bro, unfortunately for me I bought this truck used and it already came with the swirly paint upgrade lol. Good thing is I’m not as anal about the paint at least 🤷♂️. Lol. Take care man.
@@AutoHeadz Just a heads up be careful going through the auto wash... I know they say it’s a one off but I put a stubby antenna on mine when I bought it just in case because of this www.google.com/amp/s/www.motortrend.com/news/drive-carwash-causes-6000-damage-new-ford-f-150/amp/ also I bought the CarPlay USB module made for an explorer so I could keep my two USB ports and it was about the same price (I think the one I bought was only $50 at the time and I got it from Ford) works great (also this was in 2016 before they had one specifically for the f150). The one you have listed only has one USB port.
Shitty thing about that carplay module is its wired only..... it would of been super easy for ford to add wireless to the same module..... so lazy.

Those Tyger covers are incredible and they take CARE OF YOU within a year of purchase. They sent me a new one because the vinyl chipped in a small area.

@@AutoHeadz I always had used cars......or I had cars that were cheap and didn't care. So I never knew what they did until I had a brand new expedition. And I do hefty costly detailing on my cars. A good 4 or 5 hours on a Saturday. It was shocking what one of those things did.
But once the swirls are there.....who cares.
