I finally switched from iPhone 14 plus to pixel fold pro 9 and pixel buds pro 2 and im VERY happy. The experience is better that I expected and I don't miss iMessage since I have RCS and google meet. I can do so much more with a foldable phone for work (reading a lot of documents, excel sheets etc and compare documents).
Here are the key takeaways from the video: * The Google Pixel Fold 9 Pro is a well-designed phone with a beautiful display and a thin profile. It's also one of the most expensive folding phones on the market, at $2,700. * The phone's 1:1 aspect ratio is great for productivity and typing, but not so great for watching videos or using social media apps. * The phone's crease is more visible than on other folding phones. * The phone is powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor, which is efficient but not as powerful as some of the other processors on the market. * The phone's software is clean and friendly, and it includes a number of AI features. * The phone's camera is good, but not as good as some of the other cameras on the market. * The phone's durability is a concern, as it failed JerryRigEverything's durability test. * Overall, the Pixel Fold 9 Pro is a great phone, but it's not perfect. It's also very expensive. Justin is not sure if he will be keeping the phone. I hope this summary is helpful!
I have the pixel 9 pro fold and 16 pro. And god I love my pixel so much! I find it way better than the 16 pro. Pixel UI is my favourite out of the lot. Loving it! Google smashed it this year with all the pixel 9s
I just got the z fold 6. I actually wanted the pixel 9 fold pro but AT&T doesn't carry it. But actually using the fold 6 I'm quite pleased. You talking about productivity? The fold 6 is it. The multi-tasking is ions ahead of the others. The pixel fold 9 is wider than the z6 but the z6 is much more compact and easier to handle.
My sister just told me that AT&T isn't carrying it. I'm actually surprised T-mobile decided to carry it, since they admitted that Pixels don't sell well with them. Far as the Z Fold 6 goes, until they widen that front display to the size of a normal phone, it's out for me. Had the 3 and 4 and typing on that narrow display gets annoying very fast.
Switched from the Z Fold 6 to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and the latter is overall a much better device. Samsung has completely dropped the ball by releasing Z6 with yet another front display that's way too narrow to use productively. I just can't type on this thing - and I have small hands. I also like how the Pixel manages to display RUclips videos etc larger than the Fold.
Yeh it's only 21 watts. However, My Pixel 9 pro fold at max charge lasts me a whole day and into the next day. By the time I'm about to go to bed I'd say my battery is at 40-50%. However, keep in mind I'm not a mobile gamer and mobile games tend to drain batteries fast.
Pixels are the best option for any Apple person who wants to give android a try as Pixel's UI is more like iOS, except with a few more customization features, not as much as Samsung's but Apple folks tend to get majorly overwhelmed with Samsung's customizations features.
considering i paid almost 800 with trade in and black friday deal and it's my first foldable phone, it's great so far. Downside is the lack of inner screen protection and available cases for this phone (but i think that goes for almost all foldable phone)
Im good with my Pixel Fold. I dislike the fact that the Hinge no longer opens gradually. Tent mode has basically been ruined, due to the hinge issue on my device. The phone still works and since I tend to spend 85 to 95% with it open. I rarely use my phone closed, unless its something quick. This device seemed like the logical move from my Surface Duo 2. I still mis the multitasking ability of the Duo, the Android 15 update did provide app pairs, at least. Im not planning on upgrading any time soon. Maybe, 10 Pro Fold might have me wanting to upgrade.
Considering the ridiculously limited software, it's absolutely objectively not worth it. That's aside from subjective things like the questionable aesthetics with the fat and disjointed outer bezels and relatively thick inner bezels, the hole punch inner display, overly radiused corners (literally cuts off UI elements), poor durability, etc.
I LOVE my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Never looked at the Z Fold, no need to. Z is too small, narrow. One fixable beef on the 9: To increase Blue Tooth range and stability (a common complaint), turn off A2DP in the developer section. A2DP is an extra step in sound processing that isn't missed in my buds. Otherwise, great job.
It´s solid and google did ok this year. But Samsung is still the king on Folds. :)) Do like my Fold 6 the best of the folds this year, and their UI is just so soild. :)
No phone is worth that high price tag, I don’t care what phone it is, I’ll give it $300 for any phone , I’ll even go as far to say $350, now $500 , that price tag alone looks, stupid ,and ignorant and then you go further than that, $700, $800 ,that’s crazy, now look out and duck ,because they go ballistic on us with , let all of us say “ A Whopping $1000” for a freaking phone, come on, stop getting over on us
I don't know what you're talking about. It's a great phone and foldable. I love mine! I did get mine for $1800 AUD before trade in. It's easily the best phone I've used in a while. I barely touch my 16 pro

Absolutely not worth 2600 dollars imo
Maybe he meant 2700 Canadian dollars
@@Thetundestill not worth that
Nothing is worth the cost we consumers pay @@blackice214
Not even worth half of that imo
That's way too much. I got like $600 off and only paid like 1,100
$2700 CAD is diabolical. May as well have made a trip to the US and purchased it.
Already discounted at bell for $1300, can finance it for $48 over 2 yrs

Sorry just to clarify, you said 45w charging ... I thought it was only 21w wired? I can't see anywhere where it says 45w. I maybe going mad though
You're right it only does 21W. Not even the 9 Pro XL does a full 45W. It tops off at 37W.

FOLD! Great review Justin. I'm a dedicated Apple guy, but the Pixel phones are definitely compelling.

Hey, love your videos! 👍 Can I ask, are you using a green screen or do you have different studio settings? Looks so cool. 😅
Amazfit gtr 4 I would say is the best smartwatch out there especially when you can get up to 2 week of battery life.
If you know, you know. YOU KNOW.
Watching from my Z Fold 6, the Pixel line goes hard, but i enjoy Samsung's take on foldables.
Where are you getting 2700 from ?
No phone is worth 2,700 hundred dollars. In America it’s 1,799 but you can get it used for 1,499 at Best Buy
Picked mine up used for $900 😋 best 900 I spent
@@chamaldealwis9 that’s a steal. You must’ve had a trade In
@@dillonbanks609 no trade in but I'm gonna sell my p7p and hopefully get $300 - 400 for it
typing this on mine right now - i love it and think its completely worth it
Why was it 2700? I just got mine at 1400
As niche as it can be, nah, $2500 CAD is too much.
It's an amazing phone, and the experience is comparable to regular phones now, but the segment is still way too overpriced.
Just buy the pixel 9 pro xl
I dont want to use a case on my pixel 9PF but its too expensive to drop 😅
I paid 700 with trade inn, definitely worth it 😅 I LOVE IT 100%
No, not worth it. Hope you kept the receipt.
I don't think he meant 2700 USD, he would have meant 2700CAD.
Only 1700.00 USA here
Had this.. loved it.. returned it because of the price in Canada.. would buy it again if it went on a HUGE sale.
It dropped in price with Telus this past week
No phone should cost this much.
I want a fold phone so bad

$2,000 maybe. That's a big maybe too.
Not even worth 1800 Canadian
Nah, it's already too much to be 1800, but 2700. That's just crazy lol
You could buy a MacBook Air, an iPad Air, AND an iPhone for the price of just this device.
fold
nice design
Not worth it. honor magic V3 is better and it cost half
I have the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, I compare the camera it’s much better than the Honor. Cost me 9500 CNY
Honor software and camera is trash no thanks
It’s a great device. But 2600 is quite high.
