once you get 2 grows out of it.
you can just keep reusing the substrate by mixing with new stuff.

Love this. I just started mine the other day. I buy these every year. I get mine for $12 at Menards. Ya the price is steep for what ya get but fun to watch grow. Would be great to do with children or in a classroom too.

After all the growing is complete, some folks inoculate their trees 🌳 for continued mushroom growth.
That would be interesting as well.

Would love to see you demonstrate taking this kit and continuing to grow mushrooms from seed using the substrate, spores, etc. Seems like the only way it would be cost effective.

Here is my recipe that I keepcustomize and make it more/less spicy. This is where I dump most of my Bok Choy, Mushrooms, etc. and add the peppers I grow based on my mood for spiciness.

Will new mushrooms grow after the first harvest? In the wild most of the mushroom is underground and will keep producing if you don't uproot it.

According to the instructions, it produces only once. Now I am trying on the back side of it. After researching it a bit, I found that the mycelium can't expand anymore in that substrate. I am getting excited, and I am going to experiment it more.

What is the temperature in your house? Does it matter? Mine is between 70 and 73
