I did take the entire thing apart to remove and clean the pad sensors and that unfortunately did not solve the issue. This is a daunting task not for the faint of heart. I did not talk to the seller yet, but i wonder if anyone else has bought a second hand Push 2 that includes any version of suite? and had any issues with obvious hardware problems (kind of nervous when buying this type of thing second hand)? I also heard that once the licence for the software is registered you cannot transfer the licence to another user? they do have the Push 2 listed as unused, but its possible that they have registered the software.
i picked up an original push about a year ago for about 120 quid but i've really struggled to integrate it into my workflow. it may be the type of music i make being UK Garage and something like house or hiphop that lends itself well to the "live" way of producing. have you personally tried the original vs the push 2, is there much in terms of user experience and if not is there any resources to help me get organised or used to using it. i find it feels clunky compared to my usual keyboard and mouse accessing menus etc
i recently picked up an mpc one t hen impulse bought one of these yesterday....do you think its redundant?
@@machinemademan two different animals. They both can do a lot but have unique workflows. Sometimes it’s not the features but just how it feels to you. That’s often overlooked. I’ve had a bunch of gear over the years that I’ve sold, not because it was bad but simply because it didn’t feel right. We all have specific needs and things we want so you need to try it and see if you like it. You might prefer the MPC or vice versa, or like me you might like having them both for different days and different moods. I hope you enjoy it though 👍
Where are you finding these for £250? Maybe they've gone up a bit as can't seem to find for lower than £300 now (though I guess we're a few weeks on now - maybe they're making a comeback!).
@@benbarrett4013 try Facebook marketplace if you’re in the UK. Just check out the seller and the device to make sure it’s not a lemon! 👍
Do not be afraid to make slightly lower offers. You may get a bite!
@@aloharay - thanks for the advice, I might give it a go! I checked Facebook marketplace but where I am in the UK is still more expensive, so this might help me out :)
@@benbarrett4013same here. Saw one for £260 on eBay though and it’s gone now 😂. It’s a tad cheaper on Facebook market place but distance is also an issue for me
I'm a student who usually watches your videos.
Thank you very much for your oppnion and tutorial.
I was recently selling my Push2 to someone as a secondhand transaction.
But I didn't sell it.
The reason is this.
-I was not in a situation where I could continue to do music, so I had no choice but to sell Push2.
Before selling it, I was trying to see if the function was working properly
At that moment, I couldn't see any reason why I should sell this.
I wanted to practice harder. I can't believe it was a chance for me to learn from DJ, who wanted to learn more than anyone else!
Thank God.
Thank you. NervousCook$
@@SuperOhRock you’re welcome! 👍🙂
Nice tutorial, mate. Thanks, really appreciated.
I have a new unit of Push 2 sitting in its box since 5 years. With your video, probably the time has come to open that box.
@@davidosolo yes indeed! 👍🙂
You bought the push 2 back!
@@JackJohnaon yes, it’s a new one as I sold my last one but I regretted it. Great to have another one! 👍
I'd gladly try one, but im afraid that I would not bond with it/ get my mind blown and go back to old workflow with mouse and keyboard anyway... anyone can prove me wrong ? :) what do you think about push 2 vs novation launchkey mk4 ??
my push 2 does not have that new session view. does that not update automatically?
It is a software update with 12
