Hi Meeple University Community :): RUclips has enforces some ways they monetize our content. Our channel needs more subscribers so it would be awesome if you could show your support by both watching our videos and subscribing to our channel if you haven't already done so :). Monetizing our videos allows us to invest back into the channel with new equipment and our time, so a small gesture from you goes a huge way for us. Many thanks for your support!
Without doubt this is the best explanation of the rules of Gugong I’ve found. Brilliant, clear and concise. Many thanks and please keep up your great work. My go to place for new games :-)
Joe, thank you for your nice words. We really appreciate encouraging feedback like this, so we know that we are in the right track 😀. Hope you enjoy the game!
Another terrific video. I am teaching this game tomorrow, so I'm researching today. I was so happy to see you had a video and a playthrough. Now to watch the playthrough!
Another great video. You are fast becoming my go to channel for learn to play videos. Shame I am not down in Melbourne otherwise I would attend some of the events you are organising.
Just subscribed to your channel - you make brilliant videos! You make everything really easy to follow and pleasant to watch. I really enjoyed your explanation of Altiplano and this one is great too. Thanks to both Stella and Tarrant: the Beauty and the Beast! :-)
That's great idea. That's exactly what we said at times. With every video, we are keep contemplating whether we should or not. Some games, for example Hand of Fate Ordeal, it might be beneficial because setup and sorting can be a bit tricky. We Empires of the Void without setup I think. Or if setup is really short. BUt thank you, I will stop rambling now! I agree :D. Stella.
@@MeepleUniversity Yeah, it is case by case... I think showing components and providing an overview of the setup final board and its icons is the most important thing... Instructions like put this token here, put those cards there are not very valuable in a video format as I will never be able to memorize them anyway...
Great video! My wife and I are going to play this tomorrow. We have the deluxe as well and it is one of the more beautiful looking games that we have. I am curious about how you each rate this on compared to other euro's that you like.
Thanks for watching and have fun playing! We had fun playing 2 players game, mechanics really well put together, and like other good Euro game, it feels tight and you got to choose which actions you want to really do 😀
My pleasure. We just played it and think it is pretty fantastic. I think it will hang out along some of my other favorite games like Tzolkin, Yedo, and Rajas of the Ganges. So many great games nowadays!
Hey thanks! Going to play tonight. Only one question- in 6:50 you say that you can't excahnge cards with the board as long you have card in your hand, but i didnt saw this in the rule book. The rule book only say that you will not perform actions in this turn.
Hi. We probably worded it a tad inelegantly. Essentially you have it right: if it's your turn and you have at least one card in hand, you cannot pass and wait for a better opportunity; you must exchange a card with the board even if you have to then take no actions. Thanks for your question.

Hi Andrew! Thank you so much 😀. Ah yeah shame 😥. Maybe one day! Let us know how you go with Gugong!😀
Thanks for the quick intro to the game!
Our pleasure 🙏
Thank you! Very well done! Finally got my copy and you spared me a rulebook read. 😉
You are welcome 😁. I know the feeling 😉
This is a top quality video, thank you!
Thanks Terry 😀
that was a FANTASTIC explanation. thank you so much for creating it!
Thank you so much Jonathan, appreciate your kind words! Hope you enjoy the game!
This is a well laid-out guide to Gugong. Thank you!
Thank you Tim 😁

Thank you Jeff :) Hope you enjoy the game!

Thanks so much Julian, that is our goal, video that teaches ;P
I guess I am...a bit of a best hahaha. Thank you for subscribing!
Stella ;P
Watching your videos clarify my doubts after reading the rulebook. Thanks!??
Pleasure!😁
I think it is a good approach not to go through setup as anyway one needs to go through the rulesbook to actually setup the game.
