Thank you, at the moment for camera viewing yes but i do also own a set of the new record power gouges too which i am slowly practicing with behind the scenes
Hi, all of the tools i use in this video are from the Easy Wood Tools range, if you are referring to the circle cutter that is their Mid Size Finisher. Hope that helps
thank you, i initially put the grit and woodwax 22 on with the lathe stationary make sure i have full overage about 140rpms, then the yg i rub in at about 600-700rpmsbut the woodwax 22 i rub in at about 1000-1100rpms. hope that helps
@@jpwoodwork cool, I’ve always been told never above 1000rpm, do you turn then on a worm screw first then on the Chuck? Just interested as I’m fairly new to 5his all...
@@richardadey6018 All depends on the size of the blanks if im honest, smaller blanks will go on a wormscrew to a chuck, bigger blanks go on a faceplate to a chuck

That was either the easiest wood you’ve ever turned or you’ve got the sharpest tools in any shed! Great work!

Thanks mate, It’s a pedestal bowl, like a bowl with a foot
@@jpwoodwork sorry bud. I was asking what kind of wood is the bowl piece?
@@BillMulholland1 OHHHH hahahaha, my bad, one piece was cherry and the other was Tulip wood
@@jpwoodwork 😂😂 thanks bud 🤝🍻

Very nice JP. Are you using regular or negative rake carbide cutters as you're getting a pretty nice tear free finish which is very impressive.
thanks mate, just normal cutter on this occasion mate
Beautiful! At what rpm's do you put the Yorkshire Grit and wood polish on?

JP just out of interest, at what speed are you turning those bowls?
So I was turning these at about 1800rpm’s

What? No singing, juggling, or magic? Guess I’ll have to go back to Carl’s feed ! (LOL) Pretty bowl, nice turn!
HAHAHAHAHA My Bad! LOL
Nice video but why all the blaring music? Not needed to sell the work being done. JMHO

Music bad......
Music subjective.......
Way too much time spent sanding and finishing. Some major editing required.
But other than that, this was just the video I was looking for to do a "design modification" for a failed integrated pedestal. Thank you!

To much music
