I knit a little differently than most people I know, and learning that ssk is the same as psso WAS SO HELPFUL! You're a lifesaver, thanks so much for posting!
Your video is the ONLY one that explained to me what I have been doing wrong all this time. I thought I was having trouble doing a ssk but from watching your video I have been doing a k2tog as a ssk. SO...I need to work on my k2tog! Thanks so much!
Definitely the most helpful video on this technique I've found. I was always so confused on how the SSK differed from the K2tog. Thanks for showing the different ways of doing it too!
That last modification of ssk was SO helpful!! I really didn't see a difference between the 2 stitches and the way I leanred it made me want to throw my work across the room lol
Thanks very helpful, now I understand the direction for both types of decrease. I first used SSK for an amigurumi knitted pattern, now I can clearly see that it was mean on the pattenr for the stitches to lean certain way to create better final texture!
Thank you. Your demonstration makes me clear with the term SSK as there are different ways of doing. Some other video's really made me confused as they did it differently from mine.
VERY helpful and I appreciate the explanation that I take into future projects. Also, you are hilarious. I love that you did not reshoot the video but rather just kept going until it focused. It made laugh and it made it more real for me. I'm a rambler but an appreciative rambler. CHEERS and happy holidays!
Excellent!! All stitches explained & demonstrated so, so clearly! Super Duper.....now no more confusion! No more wondering what's what??!! Hahaha! Thanks Heaps!! Wishing you a very Happy, Healthy & Wonderful New Year 2014!!
Thanks I see this in instructions and wonder. Last time I had to decrease for a hat I purled 2 together so it would have a little "knot-bump" in the pattern. I am lousy at following instructions and usually just wing it.
Poopy Pants The answer depends on whether you want it to lean right or left. The style of needles usually doesn't matter, so no one can really answer that for you without looking at your pattern. If you're not knitting from a pattern, and are just winging it, it's entirely up to you. It's the desired effect that determines which style decrease you need.

This was helpful. I remember now that I did the K1, K1 slip first stitch over years ago and am trying to get back into knitting.
Thank you for the tutorial. You know, there are ways to do k2tog, not just one. This is the easiest one.
Your video was really enlightening. Very helpful. Thank you.
Wow. No fooling aroud the bush. Up the the point. Clear and precise. Thanks. Happy New Year 2015!
Thanks so much! Easy to understand, and the variety of methods was helpful, too! Great video!

Thanks that was very helpful :)
Excellent, thanks!
If you are knitting in the round with dpns, does it matter if you k2tog or ssk? If so, which one do you use where? I'm knitting a beanie.

+Poopy Pants It dependes on the pattern for the stitches to lean
certain way to create better final texture!
I think the last SSK option is awesome.
even better i just knit through the back loops of both stitches together :)
It was very helpful!! Thanks so much!! =)
Thanks
Thanks. I knew two ways & now have another. Bye
