This is infinitely more educational than the Discovery Channel or regular television.
Nick consistently gives superb tours of distant lands that he skillfully sheds insights into that westerners would otherwise never get to see or learn about.
I firmly believe this is the future of education, decentralized by travelers such as Nick who respectfully interact with locals while simultaneously illuminating fascinating aspects of these beautiful cultures.
Thanks Nick & keep up these vital videos.
I just wish I could do what he does but for us who cant, he provides great unique insight.

Hello from Réunion, I'm not far away from Somalia, it's so good that you're challenging the media's twisted view of Somalia and Somaliland! This is what travelling is all about, changing perceptions!! Keep fighting the good fight 💪👊
Twisted view? You can't even walk without a guy with an AK on him for fucks sake😂
Look at this hate, Brad is spreading positivity what are you doing mate??
Hate?? He just spoke facts... its sooooooo safe you need a guy with a AK47 to stop you being kidnapped. So much hate!!! LOL
Not for nothing but if you need an armed escort, you are not in a safe country....End of story
Now, Somaliand seems a lot safer than Somalia but it is far from a safe tourist destination and I think it is irresponsible to pretend so
Jyrki MaansiirrotOY they actually didn’t need them, he would do just fine without them.
For a country that’s not recognized, they sure have done well for themselves. Good job Somaliland!

It’s just a mere tribal rule, one tribe cannot form a government. Majority of Somalis wanna be united under the blue flag that represents them all 🇸🇴 even those lands and Somali people handed to Kenya and Ethiopia as oil reserves by Britain.

Not saying where and when, but I have, and it can happen if you know how to do it and got game. Veiled women too. With the most lovely asses and breasts. Very horny too, you cannot even imagine. I'm not joking, Ethios and Somalis have freakish powers of observation, memory. An Ethio youth remembered me from Myspace, 10 years earlier! A Somali man in '17 remembered having seen me @ 'the Somali Starbucks' in a different town -- 15 years earlier! This tells you something about their orientation to the world, to people.

This was a brilliant series of the "real picture" of Somaliland. I had such mixed views from relatives going back and forth and I genuinely wanted an independent view/picture which you have provided Nick. I look forward to all your vlogs and cannot wait for the next vlog on Somaliland.
To make an educated decision about your homeland you must rely foreigners what to believe of your country?! Weird!!
@@sareeyemanusqaame8723 how is that weird???. Somali people exaggerate too much. For someone who was born abroad and has never been to Somaliland, I need view from someone who is independent and fully aware of what matters especially from developed world perspective.
Leila Musa you will never have the same experience as some white person in Somalia the locals will treat you as they treat themselves for good or bad and you’ll just blend in like any Somalia individual where a white person who you seeking his/her perspective will stand out and will attract different kind of attention. No one cares that you are born in a foreign land, your birthplace will not be writing on your forehead where a white person will be. You shouldn’t even allow another Somali person to experience anything for you let alone a foreigner. Go experience for yourself and make your own independent decision.
@@leilamusa9175 your not real Somalilander because you stated that your family has been going back and forth to Somaliland but they bring back mix feeling of Somaliland but i have never seen or met any real Somalilanders who have mix feeling towards Somaliland. Mowlid Gedi Mogadishu hasn’t seen any attack for the past few months; in other words, the number of attacks have dramatically improved. Somaliland on the other hand can’t control Awdal state and is gonna collapse anytime.
