Actually, this drawing is really timely as it's Robindronath Thakur's(its pronounced like this by Bengalis) Birthday in a few days (8th May) Btw, I'm a Bengali 😅
Thank you for this special drawing Scott. You have drawn someone who is and always will be very close to our heart, our being, our soul, our life. Proud to be a bengali.
You're one of my favourite artists of RUclips and I'm so proud to see you draw our legendary Tagore🥹❤️ World poet well deservedley, pride of the whole world❤️ Thanks a lot for this, you're one true legend yourself! What a masterpiece!😍❤️🙌🏻 Lots of love and respect from Kolkata (Tagore's birthplace)
My chest fills with pride as a Bengali myself, I assure you about 90% of Bengali people constantly sing , Hum or Breathe Rabindra Sangeet, which are the songs written by Rabindranath Tagore.
Scott thanks for drawing him he made our national anthem and his and my country is the same country the name of the country is Bandladesh just situated with India and visit our country and draw our world herritage sites there are many you can draw as many as you like
Also if it is winter to you then pack summer light clothes because it is extremely hot here not always electricity is available and it is crazy hot here
This was so beautiful ❤ Can you please make a video about how to make such beautiful portraits like you? Maybe some tips would be great!❤ You always make them so effortlessly
I loved the livestream!! I also would like to see gandhji or nehru someday!! One reason is that the current Indian government has tried to brainwash people into thinking that these people were horrible people when they were just normal people, hanging out with thier friends and relatives without any political reason, made small mistakes, and made efforts to fix them like a good person. Also, they raised India off the ground after British rule was finally gone. The government now is just blaming thier mistakes on the past Indian leaders and saying we have done so much to make a better India. People of India, please vote
Thanks Scott! But, I noticed one thing about the drawing, that his beard was a bit too squared like Christians usually have instead of a bit pointy beard (people from Bangladesh or India have either a bit curved or either a bit pointed beards). But since you don't usually draw Bengali or Indian people, it was alright (but still sorry again Scott for saying this)
@@user-yw8wv4tc8dhe hated nationalism in the sense that he saw it as just a dividing factor for people and will lead to war between two groups (he also predicted this in japan's case and said a war was near) as he believed in universalism and wanted everyone to appreciate our differences rather than draw borders around them. Meanwhile he opposed colonialism because he saw the europeans were believing that they were superior than others and thus it was okay for them to do anything with the natives which he saw personally saw in the raj.
@@ARYAN-mt9qf Thank you for explaining! That helps a lot. I do disagree with him that we shouldn't draw borders. It would be awesome if every country was perfect, but that's not the case in real life. It wasn't that the other asian countries had bordors or didn't appreciate differences, it was that Imperal Japan was a very violent country that had no problem with war crimes.

"Hated nationalism" " wanted the British to stop colonializing" what
Yeah. So good
