I was using the agripinaa braced autogun for veteran before but, after the new patch, the plasma gun is just way to good and overall better now. It just destroys the big hordes so easily
Yeah, between the Plasma's burn and the Columnus' speed the Agripinna Braced just feels Average. Still though it's a damn good gun with great ammo efficiency and fast mid range special killing ability.
@@BuckRodgers3 IIRC the braced autogun doesn't have as many bullets as the columnus but each bullet does 2x the damage so the damage output of the two guns is pretty comparable. If you consider total damage per ammo pack the aggripina braced wins by a lot.
@@VortexMagus I don't disagree with you the Agri Braced does more damage per shot and each shot can pierce into a target behind the first increasing its overall damage even more. The problem is the Plasma gun blows through entire hordes with high damage and good ammo efficienty while the Columnus is better for rapidly unloading lots of ammo to pop heads at almost any range because of its higher rate of fire and ability to aim down sights. Agri braced is just very middle of the road right now and with its secondary fire that is a bit lackluster it doesn't feel as good as it used to. It doesn't need massive buffs, just maybe something like bracing reduces accuracy but increases blowthrough to really cement its place in the short/medium range horde and special destroyer category.
@@BuckRodgers3 Graia braced has as much dps as the agripinna and as many bullets as the columnus but it cant hit far targets to literally save your life so trade offs. It does have practically infinite ammo though. Like never put it away if you have speed loader levels of ammo on everything but auric which just has too many crowds even with increased specials/elites. Better to just power sword through them
I like lasguns/columnus mk viii and others but agripina braced will always be my favourite. It just feels so strong lol. And always combined with replenish ammo skill perc ofc

Is he using a Mod? I see the Low Profile Icon appear when he activates his ExStance/Volleyfire Ult. That is an Infiltrate ability modifier that gives -90% threat. It isn't supposed to pair with the tagged enemies/ damage bonuses.
It is indeed strange. I did not notice this. I do not have any HUD related mods. Well, there have been so many bugs since Patch14 that I no longer know which one is the glitch.

Are you really saying that? I could see some elites in the highlights, but to force a rescue in an area where you don't know what's ahead with a special on your back is just too reckless... I don't think they are considering the risk. If I were Ogryn, it would be a different story. In this case, if I had a Frag Grenade, I would have considered going to the rescue, but the Krak Grenade can only pinpoint the stagger, so if you run out of stamina while waking them up, you're out. Well, it is possible that you could have woken him up forcefully as you said, but I think that is easier said than done.
great game .. honestly.. awsm reactions.. What I don't understand is, how you don't get hit by the mobs behind you and getting stun locked.. I have been sliding, dodging etc, but there is always one poxer that hits me from behind when trying to leave a situation ...... just so frustrating... and it locks me for like a second, but how much do they need to swarm you, right... so.. yeah, always been wondering.... HOW come they always hit me from behind
It's not visible, but every weapon has an amount of times you can dodge in a short period before they become ineffective, up to 5 on some melee weapons I believe.
Very little reason to use braced autogun when the infantry autogun got massively buffed. They hipfire similarly(BAG has better stagger but that's situational and can be a downside at times) except infantry autoguns can get DumDum, dps increasing blessing without need for kills(for dumping ammo on monsters...etc.) For some reason braced autoguns had to have 2 dodges. What braced autogun needs is at least 3 dodges(3-4 scaling with mobility) and for the melee bash to count as melee push(so it blocks if you're hit during bash, just like melee push). If you must use BAG then use the fastest firing one, it pairs well with vet's rending on-hit skill. Unfortunately fatshark still doesn't know how to balance.
The agripina braced autogun does twice the base damage of the columnus infantry autogun. Although it holds fewer bullets (60 per mag on Columnus while 50 per mag on Agripina BAG), the damage per magazine is much higher, even with dumdum taken into account. It does a lot more damage per ammo pack as well, as they get similar amounts of bullets per ammo pack (columnus max ammo is 579 bullets while aggripina max is 500 bullets) but Agripina braced autogun does 165 per shot while Columnus is 75 per shot. The real reason to use infantry autoguns is because the right click on the braced autoguns is hot garbage, the accuracy of the infantry autoguns is much better and lets them cover enemies at much longer ranges. Oh, and infantry autoguns get flashlights while BAGs get that shitty bash.
@@VortexMagus What you're overlooking is the crits and headshot damage that it has, and how crits interact with high rate of fire. It also doesn't knock over certain enemies(resulting in leg/limb being the biggest target) Even without dumdum, it still has way more dps on monsters, bodyshot only; clearly damage per shot doesn't make nearly as much difference as you want. Nobody uses rightclick on braced autoguns unless it's the fastest shooting one. Yes that's why the bash should be changed to be same as melee push(counts as block, so effectively people can "block"/parry with gun out like with vermintide2's trollpedo).
so sad that in universe where we have plasma, melta, volkyte, laser weapon, bolters, and etc, it turns out that the best weapon is simple autogun... like fkn call of duty

Ultimately, it depends a lot on the difficulty level you play and the modifier and map. It makes no difference to me and the game you are playing.
