Yeah, Jess literally saved Nick’s butt. It was invasive and inappropriate, but she paid off some of his debts! That’s huge. I get being upset however, the way he responded to it was the worst. I feel like it must be a trauma response from having to be SO RESPONSIBLE for his entire family as a child. Then when he quit law school he committed to being a bar tender and a struggling writer. Maybe he feels like it is disrespectful to the life he chose (and the one he gave up) to be even a little bit responsible. I wonder how long Jess, who wants a family and stability, will be able to put up with it?
The frustrating part was Nick not even being willing to talk to Jess about it; she should at least be able to have the conversation with him. And he REALLY should pay her back for the bills of his she paid.
IK what Jess did was wrong and all for not asking nick about it first and all but I feel like what she did was actually helpful and makes him a better person without him realizing what im getting at is those bills might not be affecting him rn but they would’ve definitely came back to bite him in the ass

I agree. I was WAY more on Jess's side in this situation than I was Nick's. She was really helping him out.
