I got same mufflers but the part number is #17704, sounds good to me. Also my exhaust has the same cracking to it but as far as I know my cats are still intact.
Not sure how they came out sounding like that, but that's the best sounding Thrush Turbo w/stock piping I've heard so far. Nice!! Would you happen to have the part number? Want the exact same pair. Thanks!
i switched to thrush glasspacks and its actually very aggressive and has a really prominent high pitch lope sound to it... kind of mustang-y in a sense. distinct sound for sure, but the cab drone is pretty bad. idk which is worse
Hmm, sounds good! Maybe I should get a simular setup on my 2000 Grand Marquis! With the stock exhaust it is like a fucking hybrid, absolutley no sound 😂
Sounds good nice deep tone, I put the thrush 25'' glass packs on my 00 town car sounds a lot like the turbo's you have. Did you have stock duals on yours? I bought the H pipe from walker to convert mine over to dual. I think the H pipe gives a better sound than the X pipe. Nice looking ride too.
I don't know if the Flowmaster sound is right for a Crown Vic/Grand Marquis. Sounds more Mustang like. Need something with a nice low rumble for the big sedans.
love that sound, which part number thrush turbos did you use?
The part number I used was Thrush 17703 from summit racing. They are really cheap and fit the stock exhaust pipes really well.
JBuehrer18154 thanks....
What size inlets is yours

That looks like mines but I have the welded mufflers but those turbos sound better than I thought they would on a vic they sound nice

pretty nice.
Hi dear, what diameter are those mufflers ?? Will put them on my dad's '06 Grand Marquis, they sound good and so quiet !!
Got the same ones for my Vic. Really really quiet. Almost don't even notice it's piped. Makes a deeper exhaust note however
I got a dual turbo muffler setup on my K1500 and sadly I have to agree with you, they're incredibly quiet but the exhaust is deeper sounding

Offroad circus did you have a video of your glass pack?
First of all thanks for the upload. Sounds awesome dude... but my question is there a lot of interior resonance with that set up?
Thank you! It did have some part throttle resonance around 2500 rpm but only on acceleration, once you were cruising it was gone.
I just got these on a grand marquis not to loud not to quiet and for 30 bucks each im good

Spruce green?
Tas & Sons Comedy yep
JBuehler is it a lot louder than stock?
It was louder than stock but still pretty quiet overall. It was perfect for me. I think the camera did the sound pretty good justice.
Did you keep the resonator?
David Lopez No I did not.
Buehler,Buehler...

no mine was a single exhaust lx from the factory. I used the walker h-pipe as well.
Way to quite
get you some flowmasters kid....
flowmasters suck, they have one good muffler and its the outlaw pro, you must be 65 years old
