    Backhand shots and backhand sauce/pass would be epic as a category. I know not many care about backhand. I can imagine pros are weighin this in to fit their playstyle. If you are a player that like to deek and shot one your backhand i breakaways.
    Keep up your good work!

    There's definitely a learning curve with this curve. (No pun intended)
    At times, I've shot some of my best shots with this curve, and did it effortlessly. I have shot with this stick from all different areas of the ice, but one time in particular I shot it from the top of the circle, with a perfect saucer spin, and it went in bar down. This was with a simple drag and shoot type shot with bare minimum going into the shot. With that being said, there are times when I go to simply flick the puck, and it comes off looking like a child's shot. So, I would say there is definitely a sweet spot on this curve, and if/when you hit it, you will be amazed. So...if you're anything like me, it will make you want 2 more of the same stick, because you never want to not have it. I would definitely recommend this curve for those who enjoy the P92. Although...I think in terms of consistency, the P92 is superior. But when you get the hang of this curve, you will never want anything else.
    Great video! Thanks for the recommendation. You're a hidden gem in the hockey community, that's for sure.

    Curve is not bad, but I had it twice It’s really weird to get used to shooting with it pretty weird, considering I love the Ovi curve but sometimes the puck doesn’t even go off the shooting pad i use but other times it’s absolutely sickening with the accuracy wherever I wanted it to go it went there other times it didn’t do anything besides not even go off the ground It’s not a bad curve. It’s just an adjustment time needed.

  • @leinbachjon
    @leinbachjon 3 года назад +3

    See I had this curve and absolutely did not like it. This is a perfect example of when you find the right curve that works for you it just works; this on the other hand didn’t work well for me. I prefer shooting off the toe and have found the forsberg to be my favorite pro curve.
    On a side note i follow you on Instagram and RUclips and am loving this series thus far, keep up the great work man.

      Why did you not like the curve

    • @leinbachjon
      @leinbachjon 2 года назад +2

      @@rielbignell30 so funny story I ended up buying a custom Bauer and had this curve put on it so I could give it a another try. My second time through using the curve I did like it a lot more, but it’s still not my favorite. Mainly because in games you’re not always shooting from an ideal position and I found that if I was stopped and shot I could go pretty much where I wanted, but if I was in motion and shot I usually would shank it and it wouldn’t go where I wanted it to go. I think the curve just has a sweet spot for shooting and I just never properly found it thus made my shots hit or miss. Also my preferred shooting style is more of a pull and drag with the toe and shoot where this I never was able to do that with.

      @rielbignell30 9 месяцев назад

      @@leinbachjon hey man coming back around a year later I know what you mean I had this curve twice and I did not like it for shooting sometimes when you hit the sweet spot I had the sickest most accurate shots other times didn’t even go off the ground shots were always in the middle of the net for me and I’m usually top shelf every shot. It’s really weird slapshots we’re not that good, but I had an extremely whipy stick so that’s not really fair to say everything else about this curve is nice but if I really had to choose, I would just go with a P92

    how does this Laine curve compared to a P29?

    • @Hartwell10
      @Hartwell10 Год назад +1

      Its a bigger P92/P29. More toe. if you like that curve you will probably like this one alot. The blade shape is different. more pronounced at the heel, and a semi square toe. The shots come off alot more effortlessly than with the P92/29, but sometimes this can be a bad thing as its very easy with this curve to put the puck over the net. From personal experience, the extra curve also makes your backhands worse than with a standard P92/29. But its not like its impossible to use your backhand. It just isn't as good as the P29/92 in that regard.
