- Well, I know it's been awhile since I updated you guys on my Worm Factory 360 but here is the newest installment:) In this video I add the 2nd tray along with adding both "Brown" and "Green" (same for compost piles) elements to encourage the worms in the lower tray to move up. I am also happy that I moved this outside because I am always outside and it will be easier for me to maintain and do update videos! Anyways, let me know what you guys think and let me know if you guys think I am missing anything.

So the 2nd tray goes on top of the first right? I read where some compost or such should be added to get the microbes going or to innoculate it. When you want to harvest castings how do you go about it?

Everywhere I've read says to make sure not to use colored and glossy newspaper.
I have read the same thing but it’s overwhelmingly do not use glossy paper. These worms eat this stuff up like crazy:)
Why do you add seaweed extract? Because of this video I have researched it and found it's a great booster to plants. Have you seen a difference personally? I'm really curious.
Is there not a plastic worm ladder that is supposed to be used?

where's the 2nd tray? it looked like you only put more stuff in the already almost full tray..
It looked like he added rotten peaches to the first tray. Kind of confusing.

Worms don't like the temperatures of composting.
So this is probably a silly question but are there holes in the bottom of the second tray?
+Benjamin K., that is definitely not a silly question and that is something that I should have shown. Yes there is holes in all the trays so the worms can pass through all the different trays:)

I was told to never use colored newspaper in my worm farm or any compost. Is this true?
It really just depends on how strict you want to be. There was times when I did but most of the time I just use black and white newspaper and plain cardboard.

Nice video, but you need to be careful when you're giving amounts of food to feed. You said to give them 2 cups, about, and that works OK.....if a person has the amount and kind of worms that you do....... which is still a mystery because you didn't tell us. I have 100 worms and I overfed Because I was feeding like the people in the RUclips videos. (They had 2,000 and 3,000 worms, or more!) I got fungus gnats and I'm still dealing with them. So I wish all of the vermicomposting youtuber's would tell us how many of what kind of worms are in the bin when they feed. That would really help a lot, especially for if a person is new....like I am. THANKS and God bless you and yours!

confusing video. He never tells what kind of dirt? is all the brown stuff mixed with the shredded paper. Still confused.also music is annoying.
